I just can't believe teams are calling about this defense - A_SteamingLombardi
When teams like Dallas, TB, Leafs, Arizona, AV's, Oilers, Bruins lack top 4D i guess they gotta explore their options. |

What's even more confusing is how many here actually think this is a solid defensive group... - Makita
It has promise. |

Wow we looked bad in our own zone that period. Don't really see a scenario where we win this game or steal a point. |

Chicago had as many defensive lapses as us, they just capitalized on their chances and we didn't.
Their first goal was lucky, shot came from no mans land, screen in front, unfortunate bounce on the goal line, no defensive mistake whatsoever.
Second goal Sbiza was at the end of a long shift and had trouble clearing it - Miller should've had it but it's Kane, one of the best shooters in the world - I think our D gets a lot of criticism and little credit

Trading away their future for a chance at the playoffs, great management. |

Skill and confidence showing for Hawks. Nucks looking a bit nervous. Road jumpy still. Plus intimidated by competition. Had a few chances to score but no shots through. Bo driving. Even Megna had a foray. Still plenty of game to go. Let's see if they find a way. Big ask. But hey. Why they play the game. |

Amazing what happens when we play a playoff team.
The last month was a mirage, mainly played crap teams .
#tank - Scooby_Doo
lets hope not.
btw Ive noticed some offense changes lately, namely the way they enter the zone, going to the net and not delaying play till the others enter. Seems to be making a difference and the guys seem to have better jump from it. Henrik has been benefiting from the new play.
lets hope it brings good things |

Our fan base is a pessimistic bunch in general.
Miller has been red hot granted.
Fans complain about the Sedins lack of scoring & team scoring in general.
Our D gets slammed whether Sbisa EG or whomever.
So how the heck r we in the WC chase?
We overcame big injuries to our D which also killed us last year.
Fans simply don't see silver linings when not looking for them.
Historically our fans r same same just a different gen. |

Their? Who is that?
Why assume its trading away the future trading for the present.
Trades can be a win win & not every deal is who lost it. |

MG traded away the future for a chance at the cup, not a bottom seed.
For as much grief as he gets, it nearly worked. |

Hawks r not the most physical team & more about speed.
We keep skating & hitting when we can & grind it for 60mins. |

Defense is locked and there are sh*t-loads of prospects coming up. They just need a few scoring wingers and a couple of centres and they are set for multiple cups and we will be bored with constantly winning The Presidents Trophy. |

What's with this team being so different home and away?
Ever notice that when the Sedin's heat up that the rest of the team go cold. |
