We still need more talent, a top 3 pick would help us a ton. And I've been of the opinion we need new management since the beginning of the year, we don't get that anytime soon if we go on a pointless run (unfortunately).

Add a winger and a dman in the off season. Guhle, Bailey and Baptiste could be here next year and that's potentially 5 new guys. If we could get one of Anaheim's young dmen not named Lindholm or Vatanen I'd be pleased. Moving forward.

I dont think they have the assets to do both unless one of them comes through the draft.

Most of our short comings on offence and defence stem from a weak blueline. Id empty the poop out of the prospect cupboard to add a high end d-man.

You don't think we could get a winger in free agency? Maybe a depth dman? I think there will plenty of options to us. After the expansion draft, we'll see what the cap number will be and teams up against it we could take advantage. I agree though the draft is important.

A top 6 winger? no, i don't. Im actually not sure one will even be available in FA. Depth guys sure but there impact is more about the fact that they are replacing someone who's awful.
