We really don't know if Boeser is gonna end up here....
Demko is 2-3 years away as most in here have said....
And didnt you say Juolevi is like 4 years away from making any sort of impact the other day? - Brooks_Light
Boeser could have an impact as early as next season ...the other two probably about whete you said |

Seriously, why even say that?
1st round picks in College 99.9% of the time sign with their club. This shouldn't even be a discussion. So take your negative attitude somewhere else. |

Future 2nd Rd pick?
Edit: fixed the link - Reubenkincade
Most have Ratcliffe going somewhere in the middle of the 1st round. He could slip to a high 2nd pick, probably out of our reach as a 2nd by then.
Here's a guy I have my eye on for the 2nd round. He is a fantastic playmaker(assist machine), good on faceoffs, plays aggressive and physical for his size and is fairly mobile. No hesitation to drop the gloves with bigger guys if in response for his team mates... Mason Shaw of the Tigers.

He could be a 2nd round steal in this draft.

I said Juolevi was 3 years .
I think next year he stays in JR.
The following year on the Comets and then Canucks.
I also don't see a problem with Demko staying down and I have no idea what you are getting at with Boeser.
JB said a few weeks back he is hoping BB will be on the team next year - VANTEL
Including this season or 3 seasons after this one? I want more draft picks capable of making the jump right away. It would really speed this rebuild along.
I know, wishful thinking. |

I think Benning will make a trade for a forward before the start of next year and I expect Boeser to play next year, That is the only two upgrades I am expecting. |

Yeah, this chapter's dragging on a bit. - bloatedmosquito
I almost went with a movie comparison, tying up all the loose ends, Henrik getting his 1000th point and all...
but hollywood would have ensured a cup in there. |

I think he has 2 more years after this before becoming a regular Canuck.
No need to rush the D

You said we have these three prospects joining the team soon, but realistically, 3-4 years is anything but soon. I agree, OJ got a ways to go, Demko - there's no rush but Boeser, could - I hope not - doesn't have to sign with us, he could pull a Vesey.
So as much as we all hope our best 3 prospects will be the future of this team, its gonna be 3-4 years before they're hopefully making an impact for us. |

No not at all, he's 100% talking contract.

Boeser could have two broken ankles and still be better than some of our fourth line |

Yeah I can see a D man for fwd swap at some point ...depends on the expansion draft too |

yeah making the transition from NCAA to NHL can be tough and theres lots of examples of it not panning out for players.
However, Vesey pulled that crap last year so I hope to god Boeser don't follow the same path. |

I don't really care about the forward group to be honest only Bo . I do hope they find a way to protect Sbisa |
