Most have Ratcliffe going somewhere in the middle of the 1st round. He could slip to a high 2nd pick, probably out of our reach as a 2nd by then.

Here's a guy I have my eye on for the 2nd round. He is a fantastic playmaker(assist machine), good on faceoffs, plays aggressive and physical for his size and is fairly mobile. No hesitation to drop the gloves with bigger guys if in response for his team mates... Mason Shaw of the Tigers.

I was going through a shift with life in the late 90's and came into a few hundred grand so I decided to leave the lifestyle behind. The obvious couldn't be denied. Our crew was getting into a lot of trouble with the law. Friends were killed. I dodged poop like that over and over.. Later, a couple of the guys in our crew became HA prospects and I really didn't worship that scene like so many others. I grew up around two biker clubs. It's how my folks met in the 60's... Gangsters were my role models when I was a kid. I grew out of that. I thought the worshipers were really naive.

I took my money, bought land and moved to the Cariboo. A year later I was able to quit drinking. Still sober for almost 15 years now and only one fight in 15 years(been in hundreds)... the list of tragedies my old scene has been through is unbelievable... glad I moved on. Now I'm just a fly fishing bum. Not a threat to anyone... not even myself.
