If Edler is out for any length of time the next up on the depth chart has got to be Pedan. Subban is behind him and Pedan has not received any NHL ice time this season, it is his turn.
Once Pedan gets recalled leave him here so we don't expose him on waivers, when Larsen is ready waive him if need be.. - Reubenkincade
Problem is that Pedan would need to go on waivers to go back down. I doubt they call him up. |

Let Hank & LE find their mojo as a pair & add a LW to compliment them.
Once Hansen is back then reunite the twins |

A lot of people like him and think he's been an important part of the community and the franchise. That said, he should retire at the end of this year. I could see him squeezing 1 more season out, but I think it'd be better to retire gracefully. - NorthNuck
I would love to see him given an assistant coach position on the Comets. He could teach them how to pull hair and bite at an early age.
Joking, but I would like to see Canucks get him in as an assistant coach. He has a lot of heart and passion |

Maybe he should convert to a winger? - Retinalz
if you cant get how to play defense then why are you still, right? Obviously the kid can play hockey, just not defense so change it to something else |

No....he's fine as a prospect right now, only 21 and has gotten better every year. He might never make it and maybe that's a last ditch option but his development has gone really well so far. |

Its called last line change lol
Shows opponents still consider the twins the #1 line to check. - Nighthawk
true true, I always forget about the line changes. But It could have been easily remedied by putting sutter on the Sedin line, because Toews destroyed Hank in the faceoff circle last night (he was 31%) |

If i said once i said it many times....
Split them up so both can be playmakers.
Help the kids score & let everything else take care of itself.
It creates more match up issues for opponents if it clicks. - Nighthawk
and Ive said the same many times as well.
The best time for this of course is when the sedins are getting shut down when together. |

At this point, does it really matter if he gets put on waivers?
This is his 6th year in the pro's and looking more and more like an AHLer. |

exactly, he should have changed that after the 1st. But he doesnt have the right stuff to catch on to stuff like that, which is why he's out coached on a continued basis - SMBDragon
Home team has the last line change. Maybe you can't see it. |

So WD looks ahead to next year & tells his players to focus on one game at a time.
How does that make any sense? - Nighthawk
Willy D knows Miller won't be here next year, as of today. Markstrom is pegged at being a number 1 goalie next year (projected). You would think this would be on the back of his mind and MAYBE Markstrom should start more now. I completely understand running with a goalie who is playing well, but you HAVE to think about the future. Like I said earlier, its a double edged sword, playing a hot goalie now to win, or playing your projected number 1 starter next year to get some games in and work on consistency. I totally understand Willy's reasoning as to why he is playing Miller this much, but what do you do next year at camp when Miller is gone.

I hearya but if truly proves he can handle 50-60 games as a starter.
For now idk so Miller will be back IMO.
Demko when ready him & Marky will fight for #1. |

Perhaps, I think this would be my ideal healthy lineup and would prefer they bring in someone who they can trust when injuries occur. A Gryba or Tyutin type.

I still think Demko is a bit away though. Bachman has seen more starts than him in Utica. Demko/Markstrom makes me excited for the future though. |
