Perhaps, I think this would be my ideal healthy lineup and would prefer they bring in someone who they can trust when injuries occur. A Gryba or Tyutin type.

I still think Demko is a bit away though. Bachman has seen more starts than him in Utica. Demko/Markstrom makes me excited for the future though.

Bachman is a pretty capable backup (depending on the amount of games), could do a year of Miller/Bachman with a 65-15 split (He's played 60+ games in the past albeit when he was younger) until Demko is ready for the bigs

if we are 5-15 I hope JB picks up the most skilled winger he can, regardless of size or defensive responsibility, we need that flashy forward type in our system. I should start reading the scouting reports and whatnot, but the ranking always seem to be completely different after Memorial cup so I usually wait till then.

Willy D knows Miller won't be here next year, as of today. Markstrom is pegged at being a number 1 goalie next year (projected). You would think this would be on the back of his mind and MAYBE Markstrom should start more now. I completely understand running with a goalie who is playing well, but you HAVE to think about the future. Like I said earlier, its a double edged sword, playing a hot goalie now to win, or playing your projected number 1 starter next year to get some games in and work on consistency. I totally understand Willy's reasoning as to why he is playing Miller this much, but what do you do next year at camp when Miller is gone.

If you're WD and you're here at training camp next season you worry about it then. If you're Benning and you're worried about Markstom's development then you trade Miller. Obviously it's more complicated than that, but the margin of victory is razor thin for the Canucks and WD has been told that he has a playoff team. So he's doing what he thinks he has to to make it so.
