Still lagging in the standings (gah...figures basically all the teams ahead of them get points tonight...), but these last 3 games are huge for developing this team.

Down in the 3rd, come back to tie and then take them in overtime. Lots of bonding in those types of situations, confidence building, etc.

That was the last game in Buffalo that I attended. It brought everyone out of their seats. That was a beauty but from what I just saw, this O/T winner might be ahead of it. The Canes O/T winner last year was a thing of beauty too as Stash pointed out.

With the net not touching Lehner it's play on but I thought his shot was deflected, the officials were not the best today

Foligno got away with not getting an instigator too. It was very borderline. Although I'd be glad if it's deemphasized to only include egregious breaches i.e. coming off the bench, or across more than one line.

He's been decent for 4 or 5 games now.

Problem is I can hear one of his groin muscles tearing from home and he will be out or not the same for 20 games soon enough

He reminds me of Ron Francis, not blessed with the best speed but he is so intelligent, he can't carry the team on his own but he will do the little things that great teams need and will make everyone around him better.

The team is starting to jell. They do need to improve the D and hopefully Nylander is that top 6 winger but I just hope it's not too little too late.
