I'd be okay with Gallagher and a pick for Tanev personally (though how high that pick would be is subjective i believe), I know he's a shrimp but he doesnt play like it.... he's 24 and his value has dropped a ton it seems. He's got speed, seems like him and Horvat/Sutters game would go well together.

I'd love to see JB try to scoop him up for Sbisa/hansen or something straight up. Try to get him on a deal, with the emergence of Radulov/Galchenyuk and Pacioretty returning to form, it seems like there's a trade to be made for Gallagher, Habs need more d men.

I was unaware of his value dropping, but you could be right there.
He's on IR at the moment.
Like you said he's young, signed for a great term/amount.
He'd be a great addition to the top6. plays with heart is like the best of Hansen/Burrows in their primes.

Gallagher for Sbisa/Hansen/Subban.

It's hard to compare them as tanev is a guy who is better at shutting guys down then putting up points and Dougie is a guy who is better at producing offence and driving play than shutting guys down
