Im not saying Monahan is a bad player, you cant deny he's having back issues, not a good sign for young 20s

I would say gally a first + is more than a first and 2 2nds ...just my opinion tho

It's hard to compare them as tanev is a guy who is better at shutting guys down then putting up points and Dougie is a guy who is better at producing offence and driving play than shutting guys down

Personally I think they would be a good pair together

oops.
I was talking bout the other proposal.

I keep looking at Tryamkin, Stecher, Tanev and Gudbranson as playing on the right side and one of them should go... but still not against moving one of Edler or Sbisa...

how many guys can we play in our top 4 and how much $ can we tie up on the third pairing? then there is the usual injuries and it is nice to have guys that can step up and play more minutes.

Tree being able to play both sides is one of the reasons why he won't get traded any time soon

Mtl has 5 2nd Rd picks in next 2 drafts. They also have a window for Cup contention now. Acquiring a top 4 defensive defenseman without giving up a roster player would make more sense for them. If you think it is to high for Mtl maybe it can be tweaked?

plus convince cbj to give up theirs this year.

trade this and next year's first round picks for a few more 2nd round picks this year.

bettman: the canucks are now on the clock for picks 33 through 44.

I wonder which side he prefers? but can't complain with his play so far on either side.

Is JB speaking glowingly of him having top pairing potential to drive up trade value?

Regardless, hoping he stays.

It is funny with JB, I joke about him possibly driving up Tryamkins trade value but I think it is just the usual honesty. still not sure if it is right when he will have to be resigned in the off season and those kind of comments might cost money or is it just moot because it is clearly evident Tryamkin has made good strides in his development.
