One of their contributors had in their profile that they don't watch Canucks games... it was meant as a joke, but all the posters started pointing it out and saying it had to be true. I like a little bit of self deprecating humour but it gets to be almost self loathing.

Some of the stats breakdowns are interesting but they are constantly slagging the team and it gets difficult to read.

I like some of their writers, others not so much. I do think their quality of writing or at least coming up with original content has decreased but really it shouldn't be surprising considering most of their successful writers have been hired by NHL teams or other broadcasters.

As far as Subban being rated as 4th best, I haven't read the article yet but I don't see why he shouldn't be highly rated. I think everyone, including likely the CA crew, know he is a long shot but he does do some things at a very elite level.

If you look objectively at how well he has produced offense at the AHL level he is very similar to players like Deangelo who has been able to come in a produce in the NHL.

The Utica and prospect reports are worth reading but that is all

A lot of times the comments section is more.informative and interesting.

the BJ franchise likes to claim it represents more than just Toronto and area, but i'm not buying it... i think there are a lot of people partial to other teams...

Just like the Canucks and all of B.C. ?

I know just as many people who are non Canucks fans living in B.C. Than Canucks fans living in B.C.

I still think the Canucks should market themselves as B.C.'s team much like the BJ's with canadas team

I think what PK said was that Jordan thought the game better than he did, played better positionally etc.

He knows JS is limited by his size.

I think he is rated higher than Lockwood, Brisbouis, and Gaudette. They are all better prospects.

canucks army ranks Subban as our 4th best prospect what a joke
- CanuckDon

What is it with your hate for Subban lol?
Every chance you get you take a shot at the kid.

Guy has yet to play a single NHL game.
Besides, him at 4 simply shows how barren our depth is.

I don't hate the kid...seems like a nice kid that works hard. I just don't think he is one of our better prospects. He likely needs a couple more years of seasoning

That might be true one day, but right now currently, what Subban is doing at a much higher level of hockey is more impressive IMO and I imagine CA's.

If we were talking about Subban ripping it up in the CHL then maybe you can make that comparison but the AHL is a difficult league to put up points.

Sometimes people mistake most NHL ready for best prospect when ranking or rating prospects

Yup, I don't think anyone is saying he doesn't. Part of seasoning in my mind though is being a call up at times. Subban has earned his call up and might just get a game.

Great. I don't see why you want to see him fail so badly, if he struggles that's fine and likely part of the process. If he surprises us and plays well, even better.

I suspect that's what they are doing. Folks don't like when I say something negative about our prospects. Sadly, we are still in the bottom half the league in regards to prospect depth. We have a few keepers finally

Different positions and different skill-sets.

Brisebois for instance, is so highly regarded by this fanbase yet has been so underwhelming it's unreal.

Subban put more points in the AHL as rookie then Brisebois did as a draft plus one player in the Q lol.

Both look to be bottom pair guys, at-least Subban has demonstrated a knack for putting it in the opposing team's net.

There's a guy who plays for Stockton who carries a mop and bucket around the ice and he still manages to put up points ..I think JV will be ok
