they do? - prock
Read your history.
A generally accepted version is that the name of the street was derived from a wall on the northern boundary of the New Amsterdam settlement, perhaps to protect against Native Americans. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wall_Street
My guess is Dallas will open it up more than usual to get their fans into it. I think this is a game where you put kane with Eichel and see if you can create odd man rushes off the transition. Could be a really fast game
All good points. If this team does start going the right way it will definitely say a lot about Gionta, personally. We talk more about Eichel and ROR in terms of leardership but there's a reason Gio is still the captain. Can't talk about the locker room because I'm not there, but on the ice he seems to be the guy who says, we'll win this and I'm going to do it. If there was anyone to teach Eichel to lead I'm glad it's Gionta. - Zschalberg
I think there will be some very interesting discussion this offseason as to who the next captain will be
Up until now,
I'd have said O'Reilly no question
But there is definitely a legit argument for Jack now
And also a legit argument to bring back Gionta
No one can deny how well he's played this year
Interesting interview with Cal Petersen. Follow at the 13:53 mark when they ask him about his future in Buffalo. Also at the 19:00 mark when Kris Baker gives his thoughts on signing Petersen.

I can't watch/listen at work, what did he say? - Zschalberg
I didn't really pick anything out in particular. He basically said he's taking it one day at a time and the goal right now is to just play each game and try to be the best he can.
I guess in a way it didn't sound like he's absolutely not leaving, but he didn't come out and say he was either.
