The Bills' team website considers Wisconsin's Corey Clement the best running back at the Senior Bowl.
Chris Brown is a no-nonsense in-house reporter. Per Brown, Clement has been "consistently winning battles" in pass protection, something that will undoubtedly catch NFL eyes. Clement is a bit of a grinder, but has drawn some Jordan Howard comparisons. He will be an interesting Friday/Saturday draft prospect.
The Bills looking at a position they don't need, yet another shocker. |

I actually don't understand because at some point logic MUST be used. - kingcong39
I wanna know why there are no other angles...
what happened to the camera inside the nets?
Why aren't there camera pointed at the nets from each side?
I do agree with you...
It looked like the puck had to have crossed
But there wasn't anything conclusive
The earlier one though...
the puck was clearly in the net!
U could see that for sure
Idk how that one wasn't overturned [/img] |

An important thing to remember. Not only were these refs straight up bush league but those cowards in Toronto three times were afraid to make a change to the game in fear of affecting the results. Show some (frank)ing balls! The first two calls - the offsides and the first no goal I guess I can see sort of.. But the (frank)ing last one is so clear it's downright criminal! The puck is clearly in the (frank)ing net! Have some guts or some balls if you got them and (frank)ing make the right damn call! |

Wow this loss hurts. They were up 2-0. Disco should've yanked Nilsson after the 3rd goal, but who knows if it would've changed anything. They could've ended up getting beat 5-2 |

The woble is why that wasn't a goal
If it were flat it would be a goal - chilliard77
The puck was clearly between Lehtonen's butt and knee. You can even see part of tbe puck on the back of his knee. |

U always evaluate EVERY position
What if they trade someone?
Or there's an injury, suspension, retirement...
etc etc etc
I get your frustration with the Bills...
but your comments about this situation aren't really valid |

Hoping the Bucs go after the Alabama TE. TB likes to play in a 2 TE formation and Howard could be a great weapon for Winston. I bet the Bills go after Peppers in the first round to help the secondary |

No offense, but the Sabres get screwed with no goals twice in 6 minutes and a quote is brought up about a team who wont play a regular season game for 8 months and a meaningful game for 8 years. |

Wouldn't have changed anything. Franson would have scored the GWG vs lehner too |

Did I say they "needed to draft" a RB?
I said they need to evaluate all players, even at positions we are "set" at bc u don't know what's gonna happen between now & then
What if McCoy get suspended?
Then we'd need a RB
Or what if he rips up his knee?
Etc etc etc
You don't just "not evaluate" guys
That's DUMB |

We'll disagree as I want my best player playing in every situation. And who said anything about adding 4 mins pk? I'm only asking for 2 mins or so. Plus, the way he's skating now leads me to believe he's feeling healthy now. His Dad just said the same. Remember how jack played the last part of last season. If players finish his passes, he'll be putting up big points - turbo044
2 more minutes puts him as the league leader by the way. More than Crosby, Ovechkin, McDavid, Tavares, Stamkos(when he's alive) Eichel is very, very good, but he's not quite that good yet. You can say "oh I'm feeling great" all you want, but he's not 100%. Everybody lies. I'm not sure you realize how much 2 minutes, over the course of 30 whatever games we have left does. Especially PK time which is the hardest time to play in terms of effort. Remember when we were all complaining that ROR played too much last year? And how he wasn't that great in the 2nd half? He had a good last few games to close it out to just get to 20 with 4 goals over 4 games before going dry again for the last 2. And ROR's ice time did come down too, for the most part, there were still a handful of games where he played 23 minutes, which is insane for a forward. |

There is no way to tell 100% that the puck was in the net, his body was covering the goal line. It's protocol that when it's not 100% they don't reverse it. And that was no where near 100%. I'm surprised they even looked at it that long. Life sucks, get a helmet. |

That's utter horse bleep!!
The only reason it's not blatantly obvious is due to the color of Lehtonens pads and the puck.
LONG past time to incorporate the same shot spot technology that tennis used.
Jesus Christ it's correct to 3 millimeters. - kingcong39
They really should. Only thing is I'm not sure how big the cameras are and if they'd fit inside the net/inside the pipe. |

You really are ridiculous. When I get mad about the Sabres sucking you're Mr. ray of sunshine everything is okay.
But when the team gets clearly shafted twice! You side with of all people Toronto and the refs that were awful all game!
The Reinhart goal looked even more in than the one in the end. It's a coward move. You have reviews for those damn reasons. There shouldn't be anything inconclusive about it. Get a (frank)ing tracking device in the puck to see if it goes over the line it's not that hard. They do it in soccer in the premier leagues they should be able to do it in the NHL. For a league desperate for goals they took the cowards way out both times tonight and its why they get the crappy ratings |

You really need to chill out. It's a game. You have take the homer glasses off for just a minute and you will see that unless it is absolutely 100% and I mean they see the line and the puck cross it or the puck hits the twine. They will not call it a goal. Full stop.
They should have the cameras they use in tennis and soccer, but they don't, so we're left with the system they use. And with this system and the rules in place it's not a goal.
I didn't get a good look at the other 2 goals, but I hardly think "cowardice" comes into it. I know it's hard to believe, but Toronto and the officials are not "out to get us". Every team gets screwed. Every one. But you only watch one team, so that's all you see is one team getting screwed, and when something goes for us it's our good fortune, not the officials screwing the other team. |

It's not about just Toronto out to get us. They do it all the time. For every team. They are cowards and are afraid to change the outcome of the game. If something is looking more like a goal than not a goal it should be called a goal. Reinhart's was very obvious. As soon as I saw Reinharts reaction I knew it was a goal. He never shows emotion and was emphatically pointing at the net. The fact that it happened twice in the same game with the same pathetic weaselly excuse infuriates me and would to anyone watching the game who wasn't a Stars fan.
And it's not just a game. Every game from now on on out is a playoff game with how close we are to teams in the standings. This was one we needed to at least get a point out of and yes we sucked terribly in the 2nd and part of the 1st but we still clearly scored at the very least one of those two goals to get a point out of the game. |

Absolutely correct, the technology is there to get rid of ALL these goal replays - MEBSabresFAN
bettman and the NHL would prefer to just take your money and not have to change anything about it if you dont mind.
Why invest in making the game better if people are already paying for it as-is?

Exactly. They know people in Tampa, Carolina, LA etc aren't going to be massively getting upset online about it like some of the more vocal fanbases. It will take a team like Montreal, Pittsburgh, Chicago or NY Rangers who have the clout and ear of Betttman and his minion Feher to complain about wanting this. And it will likely have to happen in the playoffs. |
