The guys in Toronto making the call on the sabre non goals, each had a leaf jersey on

You really need to chill out. It's a game. You have take the homer glasses off for just a minute and you will see that unless it is absolutely 100% and I mean they see the line and the puck cross it or the puck hits the twine. They will not call it a goal. Full stop.

They should have the cameras they use in tennis and soccer, but they don't, so we're left with the system they use. And with this system and the rules in place it's not a goal.

I didn't get a good look at the other 2 goals, but I hardly think "cowardice" comes into it. I know it's hard to believe, but Toronto and the officials are not "out to get us". Every team gets screwed. Every one. But you only watch one team, so that's all you see is one team getting screwed, and when something goes for us it's our good fortune, not the officials screwing the other team.

I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty heated for a bit after this game was over. Those refs were a joke tonight. So many blown calls, and questionable penalties. 2 of the hooking penalties were questionable at best, with one on Molson just being flat out wrong. Holding on Bogo at the end of the game was awful, too.

Then the blown offsides, and (in my opinion) two blown no-goal calls. The league needs to get better. That was a pathetic showing by officiating and by the almighty war room.

I hate blaming the refs for losing games. They just made it way too easy for me to do it after this one.

It stinks because these are really important games for us. I guess I just need to remind myself that we didn't play a great game at ALL tonight, but still had a good chance of coming back. These guys don't quit at all, which is refreshing. Hopefully we come back after the break with a vengeance. Go Sabres.

No offense, but the Sabres get screwed with no goals twice in 6 minutes and a quote is brought up about a team who wont play a regular season game for 8 months and a meaningful game for 8 years.

Not that we were great,
But we got screwed pretty hard tonight by the refs

It's not about just Toronto out to get us. They do it all the time. For every team. They are cowards and are afraid to change the outcome of the game. If something is looking more like a goal than not a goal it should be called a goal. Reinhart's was very obvious. As soon as I saw Reinharts reaction I knew it was a goal. He never shows emotion and was emphatically pointing at the net. The fact that it happened twice in the same game with the same pathetic weaselly excuse infuriates me and would to anyone watching the game who wasn't a Stars fan.
And it's not just a game. Every game from now on on out is a playoff game with how close we are to teams in the standings. This was one we needed to at least get a point out of and yes we sucked terribly in the 2nd and part of the 1st but we still clearly scored at the very least one of those two goals to get a point out of the game.

When I said "it's just a game" I didn't mean "it's just one game" I meant that it's just a kids game that grown men play for our entertainment. It doesn't mean anything. And getting that worked up about something you can't change is just wasted energy.

Plummeted to 57th in the free league. Still tied for first in the division, but they've got me on points. Lost by 1.5. (frank) John Gibson, right in his ear.

Very hard to play well when - literally - for 17% of the game we had one less player than the other team.

Duchene open for a trade.

So Disco parked the bus again...and it burned us...again. Also both of those replays defy logic. Yes its tough to see the puck....but a puck has to go into the net before it can be seen coming BACK out under the crossbar

apparently Toronto's math is: A+B = Potato

On a positive note, the team said (frank) it and worked their ass off to come back.

EDIT: Oh...and the refs were (frank)ing garbage!

I like Duchene....I would love to have him on this team..

BUT...I am 1000% not ok parting with Risto or McCabe and I really get a bad feeling about sending Guhle to the Avs

In the end I think any trade for Duchene would be one step forward, 2 steps back

In terms of value sure, this team needs D help. Trade McCabe for a top line defender im on board.

I also don't think they need to do it to obtain him.
Kane, Baptiste, 2nd. Float that out there to see if they sniff at it.
