Is it because he plays the position we desperately lack in depth?

Is it because he actually has size and isn’t afraid to drop his gloves for his team mates?

Is it because he is one year removed from scoring 22 goals and 25 assist?

Is it because he’s proved to be a game changer every playoff game he played in?

Is it because he’s at least Ten times better than Chaisson even at 40?

Would you rather him go to the oilers and increase their chances of winning the cup or watch him give it one last shot with the team that he put back on the map?

Heard Bjustad out if FLA could be available. He has 1 goal this year. Might not be too expensive to acquire. Convert him from C to top line RW AND 6'6" could be a good deterrent on Johnnys other wing.

Simmonds has an amazing contract cap wise and would cost too much ...and is probably someone Philly wants to keep

Gagner is likely headed for playoffs in cbj ...doubtful he is moved

I'm assuming Vanek, landy, and vrbata will be moved but the prices might be too high ...also isn't Vanek a LW ? I'd rather look at Tatar or jurco

Just cuz your a left shot doesn't mean you have to be LW. These guys are pro hockey players should be able to deal with left wing right wing issues.

No he isn't I think the minds that be were hoping for Bennett to make a big step at center or wing. Or Troy B to to be the guy he is being payed to do.

I don't know off the top of my head but how many games have all 3 of monny Johnny and Brouwer been healthy in ? How many of those games have monny and Johnny been split up ? I'm not sure the sample size is all the big to say Brouwer with those two didn't or couldn't work

This garbage about the expansion draft needs to stop. Each team loses one player it does not make sense to ruin a whole season protrecting against losing a player.

Iginla couldn't do it and he's going to the HOF. Some players can play both sides, others have trouble making the adjustment.

I can remember saying the day we traded for Chiasson that we would be in trouble if we had to use him in our top 6. But honestly, outside of switching Bennett to wing we really don't have anyone else that can play in the top 6.

Ferland's been given several opportunities over the last few seasons to be on that top line. His game just does not translate to a top 6 role. I'd rather have an effective Ferland for 13 minutes on the 4th line than an invisible Ferland for 18 minutes on the top line.

I just want to see some inspired hockey. Inject some youth into the lineup. Guys that will skate balls out to be there. That should (frank) our corsi and get us going.
