This same roster beat that same team recently, so...I don't get how that was on TM? Not saying any criticism of the defensive pickups are invalid that anyone posts, but coming out of time off and the team completely poops the bed is just ridiculous.

Sure, he's not on the ice (I hate that argument...), but Bylsma was a complete failure for last night.

Last night was ugly, but it didn't show us anything we didn't already know.

It's just another example of "spitting the bit" and makes it more clear that there is more roster work to do at every opportunity, including the trade deadline. As much as I would prefer that we support our young guys with an all out effort to win, now I don't think we have the horses.

Right - and for clarity, for the first half of the season I thought the strong aspects of the team would be able to overcome its shortcomings. It's become more clear to me now that the squandered points mean that really won't happen.

Going back and saying TM should have picked so and so look how good he is, seems so dumb to me. There is probably at least 5-10 players who either exceed their draft position, going by current performance how the heck was Karlsson not taken first overall.

Maybe Reinhart is not preforming at the rate Leon is but Leon does play with the best current player in the NHL, I understand he did well while Mcdavid was out but Sam is still doing great, don't get why many on here have it in for him.

He's one of the guys that will be expected to lead us to the promise land. When you intentionally suck for players, expectations will be high

He doesn't stink but he cant take over a game by himself either. Hes a nice complement to jack. That being said, they need to blow this sh!t up. I have a feeling he doesn't bring up bailey and baptiste because he doesn't want Rochester to be an even bigger tire fire. he traded too many assets too soon. we're close. o'reilly is a franchise guy. jack is elite. reinhart is a nice complement, as well as okposo. our 3rd and 4th lines fill out nice with 82, 28, and whomever else. our defense is a nightmare and that's 100% on murray. fix it, man. fix it.

He will have had 4 drafts, 5 deadlines, 4 offseasons.
