I'd love to see what kind of young defenseman (or defenseman prospect) we can get for Fasching
He's still a good prospect, so he should have decent trade value
and I like Nylander, Bailey & Baptiste all ahead of him

Franson is UFA...
so he's most likely getting dealt for a pick at the deadline

Bogosian, we'll have to see about
He's certainly been inconsistent
But...

We have to replace Franson
And maybe Kulikov (also UFA, but we could re-sign him)
Also... do we try n get rid of Gorges (1year left under contract)

That's A LOT of potential slots we could have to fill
Even if we bring back Kulikov...
we might choose to bring someone in for Gorges instead of moving Bogo

It's hard to get legit top4 defensemen in the offseason
But with the expansion draft,
Maybe there will be more opportunity for us to make moves

We could conceivably fill in 3 other defensemen
IF
We can get that many good players to replace who we've got

Not easy


Looks like Winnipeg, Nashville, Anaheim & Minnesota all have tough decisions & we could potentially take advantage of their depth

Bogo is butt and I think were stuck with him. I wouldn't mind franson on the bottom pair. we can trade kulikov at the deadline and still sign him back. guele is here next year.
