From my buddy, Sabres might sign Kulikov to a 1 year deal.
Kulikov apparently really wants to play here - sbroads24

I'd be fine with this. A guy who will take a 1-year deal to prove he wants to be here is the kind of player I want on this team. He could be a solid Top-4. |

This is year 4 of the teardown/rebuild now? Post all-star break we get absolutely demolished by a division rival, haven't had a 4-game win streak in god knows how long, multiple players floating on a nightly basis, a coach who looks vacant and a General Manager who's kind of a sociopath.
Front office is a (frank)ing joke. We already have Eichel doing his best Ryan Miller impersonations in post-game, and we'll end up with yet ANOTHER traumatized star player if they don't pull their (frank)ing heads out of their asses.
The excuses are getting old.
And I'm not trying to direct this at you but this team is an embarrassment. - BeadyEyedDouche

Think about it . To replace him will cost ?????? And we really haven't seen him play 100% let alone 50% (think thats assbackwards)
This month is the make it or break it month for every team.

Well at least you didn't show up for work one day and there was nobody there. So that's something.
Gotta look on the bright side. Don't you hate it when people say that? I want to punch people when they say that to me. |

Honest question. 4 years ago, who would have taken Ennis over Marchand?

I'm saying you said this. But a lot of people are saying we need to tank for the highest pick we can get. Might not matter, but I digress, they will lose Eichel if they don't start winning soon.
One bone to pick; it's year 2 of trying to win. The 2 previous were tank years. They should be better than they are, but nevertheless, it's only year 2. |

Agreed. They will get better with knowing who they are playing with . One thing the way the lines are changed . If a player gets hurt , there shouldn't be a problem with the so called "New Linemates" . Everyone is familiar with
each other.
Edit: It is a plus as a team. Helps with that Depth word. |

Even the great lines you think of don't play together 100% of the time. Seguin and Benn don't always play together, Getzlaf and Perry don't, the Triplet line in Tampa don't but that's usually because someone is almost always hurt, Kane Toews hasn't been a thing for a while. Pretty much the Sedins are the only ones to always play together. I can't even think of anymore great lines because there's always so much movement. |

Good point . A lot here even me think it's just Disco doing the line juggle. |

For clarity I was referring to Eichel, not a potential top-pick this year. Meaning that's what Miller was and where Jack is headed.

Probably see the good teams make a few moves over the next week - almost always seems one or two teams make a move 3 weeks before the deadline. |

Maybe a signing to have another player on the books for the expansion draft? As you say, a 1 year deal would be fine, hopefully it wouldn't cost much and he can get healthy in the offseason finally. |

Exactly. People ignore the psychology of the players. You can very easily lose players. We have our franchise player, we should be trying to win, not accumulating more high prospects at the cost of wins.
To be fair to Miller he was always like that, had that 1,000 yard stare and monotone. |

They're not going to sign him until after the draft. Why expose another player to expansion? Especially if they want him. If they sign him explicitly for him to be picked by Vegas then fine, but he's a UFA, he can't be picked. |
