wow, I see we have a bunch of manly men in here....

I used to hunt in Florida (back in the day when I lived there), go back in the woods in Florida, in the swampy area and you get these guys. the best part is they jump too, about 2-3 feet.

Bannana Spider they get about 6-8" Long

I like their center depth, but they need to upgrade 3 scoring wingers, a couple checking wingers, a legit top pair D to play with Risto, a healthy solid Top 4 D and a great goalie and they'll be set.

1. Bylsma needs to go, he plays to "not to lose" and stifles our offensive weapons. We are way better on paper than this team has shown, and that lies on the coach and his amazing "system".
2. Tank, Tank, Tank - We aren't making the playoffs and the only plus side if we did is that Lehner wouldn't have to worry about any games going to the SO.
3. Get rid of the dead weight for prospects and picks. A few years ago we had one of the top rated prospect pools in the game, now, we aren't even close. We need some SERIOUS restocking of our prospect cupboards.

Do those three things and I think next year at this time we will definitely be gearing up for the playoffs.

Agree l all fronts...although I think Murray will give Bylsma 1/2 year next ysar to prove himself once and for all...not that I agree with itthough.

It makes sense only form the perspective of "showcasing" Gorges health for the next 25 days.

Yeah, IMO, bigger fish to fry. Fedun should be kept for bottom pair. Wouldn't mind them claiming him and moving Franson before deadline or something

Who would you want more, Gostisbehere, Shattenkirk, Montour (Ducks), Hutton (Vancouver) or another D on the market?

i would say Montour, but I don't know ducks would want to move him, and his cost would be lower, I would think

cost might be lower than the others but he to them is kind of like guhle to us. Itll still cost a decent amount and hes played a grand total of five nhl games.

I say go big or go home. Empty the cupboard for someone who is unquestionably top 2/3 material.

he mentioned the cap being an issue with injuries/waiver claims...they only have 42 contracts. if you've got a cap problem at 42 contracts you've either got the nhl's version of the golden state warriors or an absolute dunce managing your cap.

Only 23 contracts in Buffalo count against the cap, the other 19 don't so why 42 contracts and the cap would be spoken in unison makes no sense.

Yeah, I mean, intellectually I know that the odds against are insanely high, but still, kinda creeps me out. I don't go hunting for them every night or anything, but if I see one in my room it's dead.

My aunt was walking from her house to my grandma's(they lived 3 doors away from each other) one summer night and a moth flew into her ear. She had to go to the ER to get it out, they drowned it first so it wouldn't freak out and damage her ear.

Ran into one of my wife's cousins at a party last week. She had this HUGE swollen cyst looking thing on the side of her face near her mouth. She told me she was bitten by a spider while she slept. They think it might have been a Brown Recluse. Those are nasty bastards by the way ...........

i bring up the 42 because its relevant to call ups and waiver claims. He didnt put anyone on LTIR so i assume the injured players in that 23 group are still counting against the cap? (or were when they were injured). And its not like they're pressed against some limit. its not a dig at murray because most teams have a separate guy for the cap, it just seems poorly managed.

Injuries did count against the cap during those strings of call ups and that was kind of the reason for it, at least that was the predominant reasoning I've heard. Each injury call up was adding extra cap and we had multiples for much of the season. With Gionta (4.25), Franson (3.3), Kulikov (4.3) and McCormick (1.5) coming off the books or being resigned for less, we should be in a very favorable position moving forward.

yea there's a lot coming off the books its just weird given the expectations they set out for themselves this year that they would put themselves in a position where they really couldn't do much to stop the bleeding.
