I was wondering that too. Whether or not it was just follow through from trying to make a save, he didn't lift it up at all though. I don't know. Doesn't look great though. I don't know what kind of player Jones is, so I can't really say if it was intentional. If it was Hextall, Roy, Belfour, Billy Smith, then yeah, absolutely it was dirty.

Reinhart - bust
Okposo - complimentary at best
ROR - overpaid and underproduces
Bylsma - bad system should be fired
Murray - not the right guy to be our GM
All the guys commenting - could have found a #1 LW and #LHD by now, way faster than Murray

16 of which are goals. I think that's just the player he is. He'll get an assist by accident every now and then, but he's a guy who finishes a play rather than sets it up, and we so very desperately need that guy on this team.

Ironically UB Basketball was playing their version of the Sharks tonight, NIU. They've won 11 in a row and 15 of 16, haven't lost to them since 2006. Tied at the half they win by 20. Not long after that the Sabres comeback started.

Completely agree. Just throwing shade at the folks who enjoy spinning his stats to fit their skewed view on his overall play.

I'm not either honestly. Part of me feels like he is too old-school for such a young group. It seems to be the only thing that explains guys like Moulson/Gorges getting minutes that they do over guys like Carrier/Bailey/Falk who hustle/grind/chip/pester on every shift.

I've heard from various places, outside of this board, that the group doesn't really enjoy playing for him but I've also heard that some players just don't fit the locker room and there is animosity among them. To me, these rumors all fall on the coach in a lot of ways.

That being said, everyone wanting him fired every day is a little old hat too. There is so much negativity here its toxic.

Indeed they were. The goal that should have been in the 1st. That offside, which really was inconclusive, but Ennis' skate looked like it was off the ice. Bailey only getting 2 instead of 4 for that high stick.
