You do realize that every charge always gets dropped due to no evidence right??? A lot have just been false acquisations by women mad at him. Not saying all... not saying he is an angel being entrapped but just because a charge is filed doesn't mean it has any touch of real to it.

Guys like Baptiste, Nylander, Fasching, and even Carrier who are itching or trying to find consistency. To me.. it is NOT time to sell off. We finally have a group that can play but they are just lacking consistency and gel together.

...... it also puts an even bigger spot light on him at all times. Everyone wants to be a part of what took someone famous down.

Adding quality young players when we got rid of prospects that we didn't value as high and picks that we had EXTRA of is not rushing.. it is smart.

you can't win games with all 19 year olds... look at the Oilers of the last decade. You have to have some experience in there and just Gionta was not it.

We got rid of 10+M in contracts plus a prospect who said he wouldn't sign here in Lemiux and a BARELY 3rd/4th liner in Armia for Kane, Bogo, and Kasdorf. That's a BIG WIN.

We got rid of Grigo and Zadarov but a very good prospect in Compher for ROR and McGinn. McGinn played good for us then we got another 3rd rounder for him.

Isn't the rule that once one player is picked from your team then all of your other players are safe or is it that if they pick one from your team that you can take one more back off the board and protect them?

Kane has a whole nother year on his contract... he is NOT getting moved at this year's deadline guys. Good grief.

He was the first BIG acquisition for this rebuild. We are going to see it through until next year's deadline I would almost guarantee it. UNLESS... he has another set of charges filed and then also dropped 2 months later like he has his whole life.
