i dont think its about time so much as it is how the hell else will we acquire one? - Sabresfan-365
I think the only real forward assets they have are Kane, Nylander and next years 1st...
So which one could we live with being moved |

Ha, thats what i was thinking too.
Imo you're either trading someone up front or the first rounder, and i think after this year that 1st will be a mid to late aka not much of a centrepiece in any deal. |

There's one more and nobodys going to like it but he'd get you a no doubt about it top pair guy.
Also do you mean 2017 1st or 2018? I think (hope) next years first will be mid rounder. This one will probably be top 10, decent trade chip. |

Reinhart isn't getting moved so stop it lol
I meant 2017's 1st but by all means if you can keep that and move 2018's first Murray would be a genius |

You're talking about exchanging an asset I believe will be valuable in the future or exchanging an asset I believe will be invaluable.
I know we have to give to get. I'm willing to do that. But I don't want to lose 23. |

If Reinhart is moved for a guy like Adam Larsson can you imagine this place? |

How do you know ?Fashing has done nothing but vanish since we got him, we know what we can get so far from Carrier and the other 2 aren't ready. You don't remove a power forward like Kane for a D man when we still may not make the playoffs and have contracts coming off the books for next year. We will have plenty of time to get a LHD D man.
But for the sake to save on arguments, i'll just agree with everyone to move Kane. Most have wanted him gone since he got her anyway. - SABRES 89
How about signing Vanek next year at $3M for one year to play the top W position for Eichel if you can get the defenseman the team so badly needs for Kane?
In that scenario, you would have filled two positions for the price of one, potentially, or close to it. |

Not a lot of room left on the wing even if Kane is traded. If Gio resigns you have him, Samson, Okposo, Moulson, Foligno, Bailey, Baptiste, Carrier, Nylander, Fasching, D-Lo, and Ennis. Now Nylander and Fasching may need more time, but that leaves you with 10 players for 8 positions.
I'd bet that D-Lo is in the minors next year and Carrier is picked up by Vegas. Either way though still no room for Vanek. |
