Just changing up things from the usual TDL talk. Crazy idea. It can be bashed but it's something different never discussed or looked at.
What if FA in a development deal gets permission for setting up an expansion team in Seattle for next season. Partners up with Stadium builder and splits the Nuck's assets. This was sort of done several years ago in the NHL.
Difference now is that NHL won't compel teams to give up players in expansion draft. Though it will award 2 picks per team in top 5 of each round for both teams on lottery placement. Also, allow player contract transfers. Then NMC and NTC contracts can be assigned to new expansion team. Plus rights to players. The cap room left by the two will allow for free agent signings or deals to take on bad contracts for more picks.
Does this solve problems or creates more? - Nuck4U
Totally possible.
But... do you think Benning should draft players or spend resources to build a robot droid team? Then hire a hall of fame coach?

Unnecessary & too complicated & far fetched.
The arena issue for the NBA is the problem not if someone will build it.
I don't see the point of this idea whatsoever. |

Pretty much agree with all the above but the TDL comes 1st & what might happen who knows at this juncture. I do expect a trade or 2 from us. How big or obvious will depend on other teams more so than what we want to do. After the TDL passes then yes the offseason will be most interesting & a pivotal pont for our future. - Nighthawk
Yes and your point on getting the right trading partner is key. |

We have D to bargain with so i see many possible suitors now or later.
The hardest thing to guess is how many teams r on a serious PO or cup push. |

I'm sorry, it must be difficult to find winter tires to throw on your Prius and Smart Cars out there, not to mention the fact that they have yet to invent Crocs' style boots.

I was not being definite just generalizing.
BB as a top 6 RW & PP.
OJ on the PP and probable top 4 D
Brisebois is harder to peg being in the Q & under the radar & more likely in the AHL.
Tryamkn is a wild card depending on who we have in 2018. He can be a gem.
Demko a back up to Marky as we currently stand is my guess.
Garteig the starter in Utica. - Nighthawk
Thats fine, I get the projections long term, but you realize how little time is remaining in BB, OJ and Brisebois' seasons right? All need to make massive strides next year to meet those lofty expectations for 2018.
I am not even confident Juolevi makes the team next season, let alone be top 4 the year after. Boeser I think will do well, but sophomore slumps aside I cant see him being higher than 2nd line or unit in his second year |

When the populous is unfamiliar with these winter conditions this stuff happens.
Trees falling etc only add to the problems. |

Those r early at best projections. Roster changes will dictate more of who plays where or when. Still D is likely moved sooner or later. |

this is the most Crack-headed post i have seen here
so your saying the Canucks assests would split and FA would own both teams?
Abit of a conflict there let alone the further weakening of our lacking prospect pool
just crazy |

All season tires r not good winter tires just barely sufficient in mild conditions. |

As long as those droids aren't made in Sweden you might be on to something there. |

No they are not the same. Your scenario and a droid team are fantasy.
