Poutists are drafting........................... sorry........ that was just stupid. Move along........... - Beatle_john
In a weak draft the position we end up in is not so earth shattering to worry about.
Anyone preaching losing is a loser.
Moving along now... |

Miller. - Marwood
He got tired as game wore on. Notice last two goals. Fresh Miller he was not what with playing again so soon. Nice way to lose as the players brought it in this game. |

Yeah they even took a time out and chose to keep him out and play that 6 man unit still. Oh well. At some point coming close and still falling short will have to land on something other then the players. They played hard and talent short or whatever could have won. So what's the difference in such close games? |

Yes we got wish on that...players believe they got something to play for and are all in. Tree and Chara not factors so far in the physical side. - Nuck4U
Maybe not have gotten much of a chance...tree only played 12:27 |

So you must have liked how WD kept the two hot offensive guys in the game Granlund and Bo off the ice the last couple minutes of the game. Result goal against and no shot on net to tie it again. |

Sounds like the Canucks were getting their ass kicked in the 1st. I missed the first.
Nice to see Granlund and Horvat get goals.
I've been less than optimistic about Hutton since we picked up Stetcher, mainly based on mistakes. |

1000% blame on the coach. Morning games for a 600 year old goalie do not historically work well.
That and Miller always does a good job in Buffalo... so what... we are going to play him again? |

Yeah well it's typical WD choices on deployment. Vets are useful but he over plays them. Look at the goals against today all vet miscues. They can't drive this team anymore. It's so obvious only he won't go there no matter how many times that doesn't work out.
What's he so afraid of in playing the younger guys more. They produce. Are entertaining to watch. Oh they make mistakes but no more then the vets. At least they can learn and do better. It's my biggest beef for watching this team. WD's rigidity to making adjustments and not using who's playing well but send out the pre chosen vets.
They lose either way so why not play the younger guys more in key situations. Especially when they are leading the team like Bo and Granlund did today. Marky would have done the job in net if played today. A rested Miller would have been more effective in an easier Saber game. |

I honestly think it's the ninja tank all over again. JB wants Willie to keep the young guys down for now so they don't have alot of ammo for the next contract. What else could it be? It's illogical to leave your best weapons on the bench down a goal with less then 2 mins to play |

I think it is just too late in the season to make a change now that would have any benefit to the team.

Not in the WD world. Have you not been watching his decisions all season?
But maybe JB knows that about WD and is like it's all good. Works for me. Do nothing at TDL too. Then JB can do his dealing off season and say hey Trev how about an extension and new coach? He'll take a loss of vet D or forward for nothing to Vegas as opening spot up for rookie. |
