I liked Boucher. Edler Hutton on PP.
- manvanfan

There were positives to be sure. Hutton and Sbisa weren't really all that great but Horvat and Granlund are rolling along. Boucher has a killer shot just needs a Little PP time to unload it. Edler looked good….Tanev a bit shakey and weak looking along the boards. But there are positives moving forward.

I'm fine and calm. I don't care about the loss. Just looking at how things went down. Isn't it fun to discuss and analyze stuff? What are you getting worked up about? If you disagree with the view that's fine. Why try to make it a personal slant? I could come back with zingers as well but respect you. Maybe you are having fun with the shotgun approach and trying to stick on things that aren't there.

Anyway... back to hockey talk....

You yourself noticed Miller's play on those last two goals. He faded towards the end of the game cause it was a quick turnaround from Columbus travel Thursday night. Knowing you have back to backs, it would have been smarter, to allow his great game to continue against Sabers, after resting with all the travel.

Plus you noticed what a great game Miller had on Thursday. Resting and not playing Tuesday, after playing so much in previous games, must have helped don't you think?

Deployment choices has and always will be WD's calling card on failure. Not to mention entertainment. Wouldn't you have preferred to see Marky battle it out tonight and show he was relevant too?

Also forgot to put my emojis in at the top too. It's all taken in good fun on your response as well

I missed the game due to work. I did see that theyd tied it up a few times so it sounds close.

It was a fair and honest post. Just own it.

Your record on what you've made a big stink about with who gets games is pretty funny looking back. What's equally as funny is how quickly you drop one and pick up another after you get your wish and it turns out to be over nothing(player sucks) or something you refused to consider in all your "discussions", like injuries and conditioning.

Early this season it was Virtanen... it went on and on with you. I had said many times since camp he was out of shape and it didn't have to do with WD not liking young players. Then he was sent down and it was made public that his conditioning and weight were not up to par. Like a flash you moved to Rodin... and it went on and on until it was revealed that his surgeries/recovery failed.... then immediately it was Boucher. Boucher Boucher Boucher... well Boucher what? Now he's in the line up and he's getting too much of a role? Who cares right, well just jump off that and land over with Markstrom. Now it should be Miller getting 1 game in 6 or 7 days? If Markstrom lets in 6 goals tomorrow, which roster decision are you going to protest/champion next? Just tell me now. The suspense is killing me.

Hutton was soft on the puck. I disagree very much.

Sloppy. We had a ton of turnovers. They worked hard and didn't give up. That is about the only thing I like about this team right now.

I went to the jets game vs Chicago. Forsling took warm up but didn't play. Jets are playing embarrassing hockey these days. Anyone who plays with Horvat gets going. That's great.

There was some entertainment. Bo and Granlund were hot but forgotten with game on the line. Turnovers and missed assignments by Nucks cost them. Miller fatigued out towards end. He couldn't track two very savable goals for Nucks to lose it in the 3rd period.

have no idea where you are going with or getting any of this from my end. Though you certainly don't lack imagination. Seems the exacerbation of exaggeration is luminous within your narrative as well. Bravo. Fictional reads are entertaining.

As for what's relevant to the discourse. In my humble observation, the smart move was to play Marky in early game today and rest Miller for tomorrow. Saber game is marred now on that point. Also, to clarify the points on deployment issues. There seems to be an overplay of vets in crucial times then rather deploying hot hands like Bo and Granlund as evidenced today. That's it. Don't worry be happy

Well to me, I'll pick the excuse that Markstrom doesn't get enough game time to be sharp, also in your analysis above you have left out the WD factor, so not only is Markstrom not game ready and sharp but WD doesn't trust him, hence why he doesn't play enough.

This would be my take on the game also, one of the most refreshing things about this team is they almost always continue to fight. Thanks to WD for that this year. I saw the "D" could not for the life of them clear the zone, they always try the pass to get it out only to turn it over again and again...maddening.

And I know I've been a little more vocal lately about the group on the ice and I have spoken out against dumbass posts, (that is usually after a couple bottles of wine) but I will try not to be so negative towards what I've been referring to the pompom girls., everyone can voice their opinion and I should just do my job as dog9 stated.

I wonder how Utica would have done this year if Megna, Chaput, Stecher were down there for most of the year instead of 10 games.
