This would be my take on the game also, one of the most refreshing things about this team is they almost always continue to fight. Thanks to JARVIS for that this year. I saw the "D" could not for the life of them clear the zone, they always try the pass to get it out only to turn it over again and again...maddening.
And I know I've been a little more vocal lately about the group on the ice and I have spoken out against dumbass posts, (that is usually after a couple bottles of wine) but I will try not to be so negative towards what I've been referring to the pompom girls., everyone can voice their opinion and I should just do my job as dog9 stated. - Makita
Fixed.

It's false hope though! It's like me being in the state of California so I've got a chance to have sex with Jennifer Aniston...

Well to me, I'll pick the excuse that Markstrom doesn't get enough game time to be sharp, also in your analysis above you have left out the WD factor, so not only is Markstrom not game ready and sharp but WD doesn't trust him, hence why he doesn't play enough. - Makita
He doesn't which is odd as Miller/Markstroms numbers are near identical. Miller had one good month and got all the praise and now is back to normal. It's not something he can keep up long term so I just don't understand why we would even consider bringing him back for a year or two when it's clear we get the same numbers from Markstrom at half the price. I'm not a huge Markstrom fan either but until Demko is ready I think Markstrom would suffice... |

I dont think Demko has been getting many games. Seems like Bachman has been getting the majority. |

@10k it better be stain resistant . - VANTEL
It came out . When we bought it the sales guy said kids could take a jiffy marker to it and it would still come out. Some crazy material. |

Still a pretty small sample size. He is probably going to need a couple more seasons down there. |

take a look at the eastern conference, the Rangers are in the first wildcard with the 4th amount of points earned so far, thats parity
the system is made to keep the illusion of hope alive longer because with an 82 game schedule you would end up with teams completely out of it in January with a 3 point winner system alone which would lead to crap hockey with no hope of playoffs for the better part of a season for some fanbases .
A change that i thought would do actual good to the game would be to create a system with 3 point winner, 2 point O/T winner , 1 point O/T loser , 1 point winner in the shootout, with the added exception of a Extra point for any team that hits the 5 G/F mark in regulation or overtime excluding shootout.
the coaches /coaching has to be given a way to be rewarded for offensive prowess, and also it would syill give teams a faint hope chance that if they were out of it early they could possibly 80's Oiler their way to a wildcard berth |

The 3 points is here to stay. A team out of the playoffs in January plays the rest of the season to an empty building. |

We don't have Tanevk. I think Toronto sign him because they can't have the real Tanev. |
