Well I think they will have to make moves in off season to improve tending and D. How that unfolds will be interesting as Vegas should have picked up extra D in expansion to want to unload. Stars may deal future there.

That's why don't see Nucks having much of an advantage moving D in off-season. Especially if they don't move one now and lose Sbisa later.

Dallas has needed D & Tending for awhile & the expansion draft won't make it any easier for them. Flat cap will be the biggest problem for any team unloading contracts or making real hockey trades. Draft & prospects give cost certainty & prolly be another slow TDL & offseason. I'd expect to see buyouts before anything major happens. I could be wrong.

I just see Vegas having more D then they need to use as trade chips. Stars will be interested among other teams. Market may get flooded becuause of this price to free agency.
