Same as we feel about kesler, but ducks are happy
- phyllee

Kesler is a total Richard head no doubt... but was a decent teammate until the last few years.

Why do you think Nico will bust? Because he dominated the world juniors and was the best player at the top prospects game? Because he is dominating Canadian junior hockey? Or because he is European?
- CanuckDon

Lots of players look good playing 18 yrs Olds....and lots of the washout when they play professional men. Happens all the time to lots of can't miss prospects. Like I said in my head it's a 50 / 50. I hope I'm wrong and very well may be. Just got a feeling is all

Haven't heard one sabre come out and say anything goes good about him....except management and coaching....and they wouldn't have any reason to lie would they? Considering the assets they flushed away to get him and now have zero chance of recouping them?
- Bullfrog77

Do you believe people can change or evolve? Especially young players who have had wake up calls?

What are the bad things you have heard this season that would deter you?

Anyway it's a far fetch play that Nucks can make a deal with Sabers. A sell type isn't possible. Plus straight hockey trade probably an issue now given assets. Best bet is to wait to see if Kane gets to free agency and try then. May be better timing in team development as well.

I dunno...how many times does a guy have to go before a judge before one believes he may be someone you don't want around you're team? The whole renting the helicopter to go to Toronto and getting all (frank)ed up and missing practice. The long history of events in Winnipeg....the balling money pics from Vegas....this is a me first player. Not someone I'd want on my team. And yes people can change, but I've seen no reason or evidence to suggest that anything has changed. Just that he is perhaps trying to stay off the front page.

well we are shaping up to finish 28th. So I guess we'll be picking 5th or 6th.

Vegas gets the 3rd best odds?

- storm88

Yeah, that sucks but nothing you can do. Not a bad year to lose 1 spot anyways. I do not think the difference between 1 and 6th is that big as the bar is much lower and there is no standout.

Top 6 r solid i agree but 3 shots at moving up is interesting if not a Mittelstadt is a nice consolation i think. Liljgren also if we deal 1-2 D.

Don't care. You can be married for 20 then kill your spouse.... does not make you, on average, a good husband.

Only have to look back to last year to see how Winnipeg sprung past us in the lotto to grab a higher pick. Could happen to us....we're it not for " Canuck luck "

2018 potential D corp if stand pat or trades who knows...

Edler/Stecher
OJ/Tanev
Tryamkin/EG
Hutton,Sbisa,Brisebois

Looking at those &/or Liljgren I'd presume 1-2 D are traded.

Worst thing about having so many so close is that we will all be subjected to the Olli Juolevi/ Matthew Tkachuk debates and when one of the 6 has a good week we will all be talking about how Benning might have blown it..... even though one has not played a game yet!

But we need the offense from the blueline.
With EG, Tanev, Tryamkin and Sbisa we have enough stay at home Dmen.

Should move Tanev if we can.
More trade value.

Tanev won't get you Patrick Kane

if your talking Evander then Buffalo adds. Buffalo also is looking for LD according to their fanbase. Something close to Hutton for Kane is more likely.

- Retinalz

Fan base isn't nearly as picky now. Desperately need a guy like Tanev
