The team is to consistently inconsistent that. One good game, two bad ones, followed by one good one and two more bad ones.

This team has soo many holes. We trade a forward for a d-man and it opens up a huge hole in the top 6.

This team desperately needs a top 2 pick to get Nico or Patrick.

which statement? that his production is better thank okposo this year? thats not what this is about though. Okposo has a history of being productive overall. Kane has a history if disappearing and being a liability when he's on the ice not scoring. Again i understand wanting to keep him but 7 (frank)ing years? Do we even need to offer that? Even benning wouldn't

one could argue that with kane we still have a huge hole there (for about half a year every year).

You can get top 6 guys at the deadline, you can also find buy low candidates for it and find them on rebuilding teams etc.

The same isnt true of top 4 d-men
