kane had nothing to do with those comments - Michael Pachla
I'm not saying that his comments were about Kane. I'm saying a team wide attitude of ignoring the coach and the game plan in favor of looser play...is a definite team discipline issue. Which Kane has a very long documented history of. |

Lehner and Kane are not the problems... - Whatnot78
I've noticed that the clamoring for Nilsson to get more starts seems to have quieted down all of a sudden.
It took Lehner quite awhile to really find his stride this year, but he's been one of the best players over the past few weeks. That's not to say his game has been perfect, but he's certainly not been the problem, especially recently.
(DISCLAIMER: I didn't get to watch any of last night's game, so if he was bad last night I didn't see it). |

He wasn't his best last night but for the past 2-3 weeks, he's been really good. |

jack's game wasn't horrible last night. that turnover was, but not his whole game. he was dishing but nobody converted. they all kind of looked out of sorts. lehner's comments really concern me though. sounds like we have a split room. that's not good. - Khmylev
I think a lot of it has to do with the level of frustration they're feeling |

As bad as last night seemed, we probably pick up a point if we're more disciplined
They were decent 5 on 5
And the falk thing probably would've driven me nuts if we were in a playoff spot. |

I am not buying the long stretch of games theory
If your playing 5 games in 7 nights for your country, you go all out
I am starting to finally question the leadership in the locker room |

Lehner is at 38 games, I just need him to play in 45 for my 6 month avatar bet with Gerbe. |

Out of any time to get rid of Disco, this would be the best. There are currently 3 bonafide good coaches out there in Jack Capuano, Ken Hitchcock, and now Claude Julien.
We may have hated them on other teams as the head coach, but I would gladly try any one of them. I don't think Disco is the best option for this team. He has a defensive first mindset. He always seems to be the "play not to lose" coach versus the "play to win" coach.
I know he hasn't been here long, but I have not been as encouraged as I had hoped to be with the talent we have on the team. |

I think lehner played it well at first. Got burrows to give the first tap which the ref called. |

Im being dead serious right now, i would rather ted nolan. Thats not me saying i like nolan, just highlighting how terrible capuano is.
This team needs someone that can coach young talent. Still think college could be a good find like motzko. |

Really? Capuano?
Honestly, I feel like even Julien and Hitch are a bit overrated. Not saying they'd be worse than Byslma though. |

nucks played saturday as well
again, I have never seen a team usa or canada look gassed when playing for country pride
why can't that translate to team pride?
I mean they took the foot off the gas after 20 minutes in Toronto Saturday night

Even so, they should have overcome it.
They had 2 more periods to score goals and take it to Vancouver. Instead they didn't. |

Without the veteran buffer the players wound up turning on hitch real quick. same thing has happened everywhere he goes. Not sure that'd be a good idea for us.
Julien....with an improved d core id be all for it. |
