So teams are making coaching changes left and right.
Who is the next coach fired?
I say Lindy
But three teams have fired their coach in the last 2 weeks:
St Louis
Boston
Montreal
All teams in the playoffs
How long will Disco last as well? |

This is a what have you done for me lately business
All three of those teams are in the playoffs if they started today and yet they still got fired...
But yet you have players in the Sabres organization talking about respecting the system, respecting the team not to mention they come out flat almost every game and yet good coaches are getting canned and Disco is still considered "safe"
Pegula pulled the plug on Rex after 15 games (almost 2 seasons), how much longer is going to listen to his team talk like they have been after losses? |

Where's our balls to pull a move like Montreal just did lol |

Enough of your damn tank talk...
Sure you get a good to great young player but it takes forever to build the rest of the team around him.
I would love Nico though |

Montreal fired Therrian and hired Julien to coach. They want to win. Exact move I wanted Sabres to make!
Murray has to get his ass out of the Swannie house! Eichel can't stand Bylsma. It's obvious. Too late now.
GMTM .....
The players are having to come out and explain everything now since Bylsma lost the room a while back. Murray has done nothing!!! He should be ashamed this has happened under his watch! |

I like what Gallant did with the young roster in Florida before all the injuries. What's he been up to, no one brings him up. |

imo, they're very different circumstances...all three of those team had multiple seasons of success under their respective coaches but were struggling mightily as of late...
bylsma's been here a season and a half |

If Dallas fires Lindy I would take him back right now. I think he could coach this group better than Dan. His system got the defensemen involved offensively and I think he can coach the young talent this team has. Contrary to popular belief he is not a conservative dump and chase guy. Dan is. |

With this talent I think he would do well here especially with Ryan O'Reilly he will treat him like Drury
A lot of people would hate it but I think it be a lot of fun to have him back |

bylsma's been here a season and a half - Michael Pachla
Take Montreal for example, there were issues with PK so they traded him, they are winning still even if they slumped a bit, what happens? They fire their coach...
Take Boston, the GM set that team up horribly yet Julien still managed to keep them in the playoffs, they slumped a bit what happens? They fired their coach
Then take Buffalo, it has been the same thing for 2 years, starting the season terribly, sure Eichel being hurt the day before the season killed the team, but still you can clearly see frustrated players, your franchise player isn't happy (and struggling a bit lately take out his 3 assists against Toronto) and the only real outspoken person has been Lehner.
The coach should be on the hot seat and if he's not the GM should be and since he just got an extension this is all Disco.
I would rather they do it now while there are still a couple of names out there then wait until next season and then you are looking at an unproven guy... |

I wouldn't expect it to be a popular move. I just think most fans want to look to the future not the past, but I think his style would work really well with this group. |

because he's been here less than two seasons?...I've never heard of a coach who came to a bottom feeder being fired in less than two seasons...if anyone can find one, lmk |

If Lindy was the coach of this team since they got Eichel ROR Kane etc I would be willing to bet they would be closer to the playoffs.
But there are still holes on the blue line that I don't think could handle Lindy's system and I am not sure Lehner could handle it either. |

We have a younger version of Dallas with a little better goaltender, he hasn't done anything down there, what makes you think he will work here? |

It's a pattern here.
Disco turning to veterans when there are younger players waiting.
It took how long before Bailey ended up playing with top six talent? |
