I agree. They should start trading out stars/big contracts for draft picks and low priced contracts. Build a team of solid young veterans at low cost and high character/motor.

I get that, I'm still not sure 1 for 1 he brings you back a defender that we'd consider a really good upgrade. Unless he's in a package deal I guess. They may believe long term he's more valuable to the team.
