That Wideman situation was a dangerous rabbit hole. He looked concuessed to me, I've actually "blacked out" and fell right after a concession. I really feel he had no idea what was going on. - Mentalorgasm5
What a dunce... You can't slash a linesman, no matter your intent, which I don't think his was malicious, he was just trying to get his attention, but still. What a dunce.
his recent determination to play hard ball with contracts like risto gives me hope. Lehner doesnt really have leverage here. - Sabresfan-365
He only needs to say two words. "Save percentage". And he's got all the leverage he needs. That said, I don't think he gets more than $3.75M for 2 years.

I actually did see that one yet. I just remember that Wideman situation over and over again. I came away from it, he was lost and didn't know what was going on.

It was even that bad the Nyquist spear was a thousand times worse once again the NHL gets it wrong

Yeah, it was a solid whack. I saw it right away. Or at least I thought I did. I couldn't really believe a player would slash a linesman like that, so then I thought he just MF'ed him until he stopped play. And then the replay and he definitely whacked him hard on the ass/hip.
I wonder what he gets if Wideman got 20, later reduced to 10 was it? I can't remember.

Saw posted any infraction vs an official is mandatory 10 games . Can be added to after review.
does anyone know why he did that in the first place? - Michael Pachla
I don't know if this has been posted, but Vermette took his stick off the ice before the linesman dropped the puck, I guess he thought the linesman was going to wait until he was ready again before dropping the puck like they normally do.

Yeah, it's like coming off the bench to start a fight it's an automatic 10. Clarkson when he was with the Leafs did it during the preseason against us.
The NHL is way too hung up on the "result". Spurgeon was fine, so it's only 6 games. And did Galchenyuk get anything?

You're out of your goddamn mind those are on par with Blackhawks home jersey. Ok maybe not quite that good, but really damn good. Their new ones look like dogpoop. I still really like the peyote trip jersey too.

to me....and again, i stress that this is about personal opinion, these look like basketball jerseys from like 2001.
im a big fan of original 6 sweaters. the sabres 1970 sweater, etc. I just feel like there's too much going on in these. they look like a video game to me.
I personally like a big, 2 color logo on the front and some stripes on the sleeves and socks, and thats it. 2 or 3 colors total. not every color a clown barfs up after eating a family sized bag of skittles.
again, no offense. just not my thing.

I know, I'm just (frank)ing with you.
Personally I do really like them, but I also think Chicago's home reds are the best followed closely by the Habs, either home or away, they're both great. I don't like the Red Wings though, or the Bruins.

I'm with you and Chilliard, I like those Coyotes jerseys - though not the green one. Also agree on your others you posted here, but disagree on Boston - their old home whites are nice.
I hate that home colors are dark now...what would be "cool" would be if your home/away jersey depended on the time of the season. After a designated "halfway" point, switch. Gives your home fans some variety/change in both the home team as well as visitors.
Yeah. Plus it reads like the answer is obviously Kane. - Wetbandit1
Sort of a trick question, since it's almost identical - 110-108 (Kane).
Pretty interesting though considering he was acquired and known to be injured the rest of the year, yet Myers has missed more time even with that having been a known at the time of the trade.
