IF we won the draft lottery, who would be your picks?
Here's mine:
1) Hirshier (there's currently a 6.5% chance we get 1st)
2)Patrick (6.66% if we dont win #1)
3) Liljegren (8.387 % If we don't get 1 or 2) - neem55
1) Patrick
2) Hirschier
3) Mittelstadt

ya Mittelstadt is definitely top5 IMO as well. Liljegrin's tape lately has swayed me, some really high-end games in the last few weeks now that he's back to full health. |

If you love it so much then you and Dragon should meet to work things out. I'll take a flight over to coordinate just for that. - Nuck4U

The statement was temperatures don't need to be high all the time in response to making fun of Gore with blizzard . But it was not elaborate so I can see why you followed up with question. Sorry more uber sensitive to this as the Trump presidency is trying to roll back progress in combating climate and pollution problems with deregulation initiatives so someone can make a quick buck.
Anyway ... nice to escape reality and see Horvat back and score from great feed by Tree! - Nuck4U
that pass was unreal. He's a very very good playmaker |

The irony of reading the link above and then reading this dribble... - dbot
You are right when Realitychecker suggested for me to commit suicide I should have ignored his callous remarks instead of try to make fun of it like show me how or the way.
It's a serious subject. Not like our takes on the Nucks.
Just be fair about who is crossing the line and how. You know like how the zebras were about the 2-1 goal challenge. |

both players were amazing on that. Bo buried that with conviction, tree made a killer player on forecheck and what a pass! |

Sorry, I'm a little busy these days so I'm paraphrasing here.
Q. Have you talked to Burrows/Hansen about the possibility of trades.
Benning.
No, I want them to focus on winning the next few important games and we will maybe talk to them during the break depending on where we're at.
Q. On resigning Miller ?
Benning.
We'll see how the season goes, been really good for us, talked about it recently internally and will see how the season plays out.
Q. would they make another Baertschi/Granlund trade at TDL
Benning
That's what we have been discussing in scouting meeting, teams have depth in positions, we have depth in positions , call up GM's and see if there is a fit.
Q. is it a Sellers market?
Benning.
Not a lot of teams selling right now and teams will wait until the TDL until deciding.
Q. Is Markstrom a #1
Benning.
He's at that age where goalies step up, he will get more opportunities next year.
Edit.
There was lots of other info but I listened to it in a few different chunks and couldn't remember most of it. - belcherbd
So it's like most people thought if we take JB for his word. He won't talk to Burrows and Hansen until later about waiving if he does. There is no better way to do it really. Both guys are obviously going to pick playoff teams on any lists. At least you have some indication of what JB's public position is on this now. You wanted to know why he isn't discussing it with them now... he answered. JB seems to be pretty passive on playoff talk that's for sure. Pretty much answers everything with "we'll see".
I'm not into signing Miller to another season. We will need to sign someone though. With that being said, I can see how they are not confident with Markstrom as the number 1.

I think that before, or at the start of next season, Henrik is going to hand the 'C' over to Bo. |

For sure. I rank him 3 in the draft but if I'm Benning, I take one of my top 3 C's.

Yeah I am with you on that. I would add that "where we are at" phrasing isn't limited to chase for playoff spot. I would say he's not under pressure to trade anyone. That the decider will be seeing where they are at on offers. He won't trade anyone just to get something. Which will upset people. But if he does make a deal it won't make a difference really. Off season is where it's at for development of team for next season. |
