You don't get the state of Canuck shooters right now. After Bo he's the most dangerous next to Granlund and Sven.... then Hansen... followed by Hank, LE and Danny. You see that's the biggest issue with this team. Guys who can shoot or get in position to do so to score. It's that sad

I was pretty complimentary of Sutter given the fact he gets stepped on by canucks and penguins fans moreso than not. He's like Higgins was... in the sense trying to be one line better than he actually fits. He will be a Canuck for awhile.

Yup all added.after they had Yzerman. No problem having some European just don't want to hang my hopes on any again, unless they are being support or equal to the CANADIAN guys.
Some of you find any excuse not to pick a local or a Canadian player, I choose.to want Canadian players as I am tired of the Gradin Moline Granlund Rodin Lindgren Sedin type of players.
My preference, if you guys like having teams that get pushed around easily and don't pushback, do not hit and don't show up in the big games continue hoping for more of those type of players.

Ah Higgins was a good soldier who worked hard to produce. But on this team now it's a sad state of impact players. Without Sutter in the Nuck's line up the scoring, faceoffs etc, diminishes quite a bit. Without Bo and Sutter you get donuts like the last Pens game. You get the picture how sad it is

I'm starting to get deja vu...bottom 3 finish...lose the lottery and pick 5th. This time either Tippett or Rasmussen. Big body winger who has potential. Hopefully they don't have a cheeseburger abuse problem though.

(For what it's worth I still believe Virtanen can turn things around...I hope)

People have Cale Makar moving up their draft boards into the top 10 now. Some have Nick Hague down in the lower high teens.
Popugayev in the last 20's.
Other then the top 6 this draft, it's anyones guess.
I have a feeling that Vantel might get his wish if Van picks from 6-8 and Van takes a european.

That is exactly what he is doing putting up decent numbers , defending well , winning face offs and playing the PK.

I am really not sure what fans expect from third line centers.

The second third and fourth lines are doing what they are suppose to do . We are close in a lot of games.

The first line are falling way off the mark but that is understandable seeing two of the guys are now 36 years old.

Our team will develop and we will find first line replacements.

We now know what it is like without the Sedins and it is not as bad as most expected.
