The second third and fourth lines are doing what they are suppose to do . We are close in a lot of games.

The first line are falling way off the mark but that is understandable seeing two of the guys are now 36 years old.

Our team will develop and we will find first line replacements.

We now know what it is like without the Sedins and it is not as bad as most expected.

We will find or develop top players .

You're just saying that because he is from Surrey.

That's fine .

You look at the age of Bo Sven Granlund Stecher Tryamkin and Hutton. In four years they should be pretty decent players and even the second strings of Sutter Gudbrandson and Tanev all hitting 29-30 .

I think we will be able to draft at least 3-4 decent players in the next four yars and maybe we have someone like Boeser OJ or Demko that might step up.

ASL says six years I think closer to 3 or 4

For all the arguing that went on this summer about will we finish last or make the playoffs.

We definitely won't finish last but we are 3 points away from being a lottery team and five points away from being a playoff team . Can anyone say bubble team

Right, you didn't claim that you and Vantel were better and got all butthurt when people started laughing at you. Even Vantel in all seriousness asked you not to attach his name to crazy claims like that. You never backed down on it either. Eventually, the mods had to put an end to all fun people were having over it. You were prety upset. Never did you consider being humble a bit after that to help your situation. No, it was the mods telling people to shut up.

You have been cornered for calling people idiots, or saying they are not smart enough or implying by just using language you can hide behind constantly. You deny it on the same page at times.

I would hang onto Jake if thats a proposed deal straight up. I think the Canucks are pushing and challenging him for top 6, I think Lazar's development doesnt have the ceiling JV's has

So an expansion exempt player for a non exempt player? JB would be a moron if this was done before the draft.

The source is questionable, I doubt Benning is ready to get rid of Virtanen right now, it sounds like a made up rumor by a fan.

I just realized I will be destroyed in the pool next week. All of Buffalo, Winnipeg, Detroit, San Jose have their 5 day bye-weeks

Lazar is so soft. I would much much rather keep Jake.

Yeah I havent paid him much attention in recent years, but he seemed like hes not aggressive enough for 4th line, not skilled enough for consistent top 6, so hes like 3L or bust. If JV never takes another step forward in his development, he would still be a useful bottom 6 winger

At least they are doing it this year with younger/less experienced players...

It will be the same headline at the same time of year next season as well. Botchford stirring up the hysteria as usual.

I find his Provies blog is fairly entertaining, just taken with a grain of salt on some items. For a while I was feeling pretty confident he was a member of this group, given the hysteria

I have seen big improvements in the team this year. I don't give a frank how many points they have. Botchford is a huge b!tch

Reality is, that we are younger than we were last year (even though points and stats remain similar), and our prospect cupboard is a bit heavier than it was this time last year as well. Small steps, small victories.

The young players are making greater contributions than the old boring, stale core. That's a victory in my eyes. Trade them all, burn it to the ground

Botch might female dog about how its the same, but I think the same as yourself. The average age of the top 7 D is 24 years old, there are more kids being involved offensively (while the Sedins have sputtered, thus they are helping keep the team afloat), and the product has been generally better than last year. Comparatively, last year was done with mostly vets

Agree on all accounts. What game this year have the Sedin's carried the team to a victory? I can't recall any.
