For this team to come near a cup Bo, Sven, Markus, Hutton all the younger players need to continue to score more. Sutter, Eriksson need to put up 20 plus goals.

Then we need 2 players that are going to score around 70.

at absolutely no disrespect to the Sedins, but this won't happen until after the 2018 season. The Sedins will continue to eat up 20 minutes a night, struggle against other teams top lines, and Bo and the youth won't have the proper opportunities to provide that scoring.

Im saying that because he only scores on the PP

he has 17 even strength points in 50 games.

on Rasmussen...

last time I checked, goals and points count on the PP....

this is a really terrible argument as to claim a player is garbage.

Kessel, Sequin, Giroux, Benn, Backstrom all get about 45-60% of their points on the PP, plus its not like our PP is any good, so we could use all the help we can get.

Its not a terrible argument at all. Look at the Oilers thread right now regarding Lucic. He is contributing on the PP, getting primary and secondary assists on all of McDavid's goals, but is one of the worst players on the team for points at 5v5. You need well rounded players in today's NHL, ones who don't only produce on PP's. His stats show that he is actually producing points as a "4th line CHL player" at even strength. That, to me, would instantly raise flags.

The difference is that those player still produce well 5v5 as well. Rasmussen is currently putting up 70% of his points on the PP.

Backstrom 38%
Kessel 45%
Benn 41%
Seguin 43%

Even if you disregard where the points are coming from, he doesn't create offense at all. He is a good prospect for sure but not a top 10 pick IMO.

Canucks couldn't bring home the points on the table in St. Louis on Thursday.

Now it's just a waiting game—I think once a couple of key teams make trade moves, we may see a domino effect from there. Buyers and sellers are getting more obvious but the expansion draft situation still muddies the waters...

The only season the Sedins have averaged 20 minutes a night is the 2013-2014 season

They don't care what Lucic does during the reg season points wise for the most part...he's there for playoffs and to provide the tough edge.

Disappointing really that this group of knowledgeable, well reasoned folks took so long to figure it out.

That is exactly what he is doing putting up decent numbers , defending well , winning face offs and playing the PK.

I am really not sure what fans expect from third line centers.

15 goals is pretty good
