if you sign petersen, you have ullmark
won't lose either to expansion then
it won't happen, but curious - homiedclown
I think Ulllmark or DeLo goes to Vegas in the expansion draft. |

It's fun looking back at the Dominators domination of the voting late 90's. It was fun to watch for boring defensive hockey we played back then. He was worth the price of admission alone |

If the Rangers want to go after Shattenkirk this summer, do you think a one for one swap Nash for Ennis would be enough? Both with one year left and they free up almost $5m. Nash's $8m would come off the books when it's time to resign Jack and Sam, and if we are still not a playoff team (which would be hard to fathom) enough of his contract would have been paid that he could be traded for a great return at the deadline. |

On a positive note Baileys speed adds a very nice element to our game we have needed all year. Send Grant back down, he has no place in the NHL. - lulags

With so many goalies Vegas will need to choose from, I'm not sure if they even take Ullmark. A starter, backup, two for the farm, and I imagine them drafting one... that should be good for year one. |

He was probably just given that information. And I'm sure he saw it somewhere. |

Nash for Ennis for a year would be a done deal in my book. |

I haven't seen the last two games but based on what I am reading, EROD has played well. How is his skating and speed? Even though he is a winger, would he be a better 4th line centre (once Girgs is back) vs Grant and/or COR? |

Buffalo would have to add a bit but Ennis and a 3rd for Nash?

He's faster and more creative than all of those guys, so yeah, I'd rather have him at 4th center. |

I figured out the reason for Grant being here...
Most games played before scoring first NHL goal? As of March 16, 2008 that is defenseman Terry Murray who went his first 217 games in the NHL without a goal.
Grant is currently at 86 games played without a goal. |

Schneider was 27-25-6 with a .924 Sv%, and wasn't a finalist. What am I missing?
Like I said, he goes on an epic run and we make it, I can see it. Not right now |

Schneider with a losing record did in fact get consideration...He received votes he just wasn't a finalist (team didn't make the playoffs)
Lehner might even get consideration this season even if the Sabres don't make the playoffs (but he won't be a finalist)
If the Sabres do make the playoffs Lehner should be a finalist.

Yeah, but he brings a lot of intangibles. Like he keeps the bench warm for the guys out on the ice and he always remembers everyone's birthdays, he's the D.J. in the locker room, and he drives a Ford Focus. You just can't replace all that every day. |

If he goes on an epic run, yes possibly.
I am usually the one that gets accused of cherry picking a stat.
He's "great" or top 3 in 1 stat, SV%.
I think he's playing really well right now, but this is also the guy that hasn't stopped a shootout attempt yet. |
