It won't matter as the fan base has whittled down. Who's left will either hate whatever he does or be hopeful about it.

The sad reality is most really cares if he's smart, good or whatever. They won't be back until the Canucks are competitive enough to make the playoffs and be able to do something.

Gudbrandson with the new contract could be odd man out but I wouldn't . I think you give him time to adjust and his toughness is needed. He would get a good return though.

Yeah that's about right above. I was getting at that on my Pens injuries post. Some said Hutton in response. But he's Vegas exempt so JB wouldn't want to do that plus reasons you mentioned.

As for Guddy his injury has made him TDL proof. I agree on your points plus JB doesn't think D is tough enough without him.

Some have said Nucks need high end offensive talent like a puck wizard type who can dazzle out there and dish off. Not like the old Sedin cycle that just was a magic show to run you down. But Kane like talent. What say you?

It's the right move for TDL that makes sense. Vegas exposure aside. Sbisa could be seen as a rental by a Cup team.

Last season they couldn't move him. His play this season has uppped his value to be moveable. Plus the fact his contract can be taken in expansion actually is a positive for a cap crunched contender.

The big question is what can JB get for him...?

I don't think JB lets him go for less then a second.
