Sabres 2 Black Hawks 5.

Nothing against this team just don't think they will beat the Hawks on back to back games played

See my post above, I think we're saying the same thing, with the exception of the Bible, which if you take the time to study it, and I mean really go deeper than an English translation (i.e. take into consideration that the original texts used words that do not have exact English equivalent), is not as incompatible with science as many like to think.

I'm not gonna get into Bible stuff here....

But I've taken some Astronomy classes and it isn't just "Stars and stuff".

The Milankovitch hypothesis is the single greatest argument AGAINST human-caused climate change, and if you look at the graph I posted, you can physically see the Milanovitch hypothesis.

They are the spikes, for those who don't read (not directed at you, Buffalofan19).

I find it hilarious that climate-change deniers don't use the Milankovitch hypothesis in their arguments but again, it's because they don't read.

The alarming part is the additional spike on top of the regularly occurring spike on the graph. The one that DOUBLES the CO2 emissions from 1950 - Present day.

We were already entering a warm cycle in the Earth's natural cycle.

The Earth doesn't just spin on it's axis. It wobbles. And these wobbles coincide with the temperature spikes. All data since the last ice age, even documentation of decreasing ice within castles in Medieval Europe over the course of hundreds of years (Yes, they kept records of this stuff back then) shows a gradual warming of the Earth moving OUT of an Ice Age.

What the scientific community fails to get across to the general public is that while we were already entering a warm-cycle, humans have affected tis natura process, essentially doubling the natural effects.

And it's not just fossil fuel use. It's the Beef Industry, the Paper Industry, Frozen Food Industry, over-population, aerosol usage, but the one thing they never acknowledge is the:

LITERALLY OVER 2000 NUCLEAR EXPLOSIONS THAT THE WORLD'S SUPER-POWERS HAVE DETONATED IN THE PAST 70 YEARS in the pacific ocean, American Southwest, Australia, Southeast Asia, Africa, Siberia and the Middle-East.

That in and of itself is the cause for 90% of the human-caused spike in CO2 within the atmosphere, the oceans and the undeniable rising temperatures, globally, in the past 100 - 150 years.

I'm not a supporter of the bye week, mainly because going five days without watching my team play is kind of boring. However, I personally think that the hockey as a whole has been more entertaining during this "compressed schedule" period (the Sabres game against Colorado being the exception). Maybe it's easy to say this because the Sabres are on a 3 game winning streak, but I do wonder if fewer chances to practice are causing teams to "just go out and play" and not allowing the fun to be coached out of the game as much.

I never thought of it that way, but I do believe it, given the adverse local effects that even the Atomic Bomb had in Japan. However, I do think that there's a reason that even the scientific community is relatively silent on this issue. And it's because the community is a large player in the world's nuclear programs. While the scientific community and the scientific method does do a good job of "trying to disprove itself" as you stated earlier, it's still not free from bias, if even subtle. It's also easy to hide because it's not something that is on the forefront of the general public's mind (at least until nuclear war is a legitimate threat).

Don't discount the fact that Chicago had a game in Chicago that ended 3 hours after the sabres game yesterday. They'll be tired, though I would have preferred if they wonnlast night

I get the sense that the same people who don't believe climate change is happening, are the same people who believe there are six more weeks of winter when the groundhog sees it's shadow.

Ding ding ding ding ding.

I've ben saying this for a few years now. that all of the fossil-fuel use, methane, etc... That is directly from us, as people who must live in the world created and which we live in, are a mere fraction of the percentage of the ACTUAL cause of all this data.

Nuclear explosions and their effect on the environment and temperature of the planet.

This picture is a great finale to that video:

If you look at all the areas affected by the fallout, you'll notice a trend in drought, famine, wildfires, sterilization of wildlife and people, cancer rates and record temperatures. Not that these things never happened but the point is the massive increase in data that is UNDENIABLE.

The world is being run by (frank)ing lunatics. Imagine these 2053 explosions as Volcanic Eruptions, without the dust covering the skies and blacking out the sun, and you have Global Warming/Global Climate-Change or whatever it's being called these days.

And no one is talking about this.

No, the logic would be poor if the rumor didn't include the guy that drafted over him...but it does.
- buffalofan19

So by that logic, we could never trade for everyone drafted after Nylander?

The thing about climate change, you can even bring religion into it, there is no reason not to accept the facts at hand. It could be used to justify an apocalypse. I just don't get how people can't see the damage we are doing.

At rate we are damaging the Earth, along with population growth, I'd give a max of another 100 years before we have our version of the Black Death, Spanish Flu, and so on.

It's always cool to make fun of religious people. I encourage you to go down to the nearest mosque and make fun of them. Maybe even make a witty, funny drawing of Muhammed to clown on them. You're a funny, cool guy. Take pics. Can't wait to hear how it goes for you.

Hah!

Adam and Eve were the first two Humans (well, except Lilith but she was a whore that ran off with a serpent).

They bore two sons.

Those two sons went to the neighboring town to get wives.

Ended 3 hours after? How about Sabres game ended around 4, they're game started at 6, so ended after 9. So about 5 hours after, then traveled to Buffalo.

Live it. Don't sit in your ivory tower telling everybody how smart you are. Do it. Do exactly as I wrote. Go to a mosque and clown on some muslims. Tell us all how it goes. Take pics for proof.

I don't know how to embed videos. But this 2 minute video fascinates me with the naivety of most people's understanding on the dangers of population growth.

Back to climate change discussion....
I suppose the debate is what data points and over how long of a period to look at...

If you take the real long view, one would question the position of Global Warming advocates.

If you take a mid-range view, one would question the position of Global Warming advocates.

If you take the short view, one would ask why the view has changed from Global Warming to Climate Change nomenclature and the suspected causals.

Personally, I do believe humans are contributing to a recurring cycle of global warming and cooling...but to what degree I am uncertain.
