It's settled science, says millions of people who aren't scientists and believe everything bill nye says (even though he's a proven fraud). Scientists were also at a consensus once that the earth was flat.

I'm pretty sure that was a church thing with the earth being flat. They followed the Ptolemaic model of the universe for 1500 years. Eratosthenes fairly accurately calculated the circumference of the planet 250 years before Christ supposedly walked the earth. Church didn't notice because he wasn't a christian like all the other Greek/Ionian, Jewish and Arabic scientists/scholars they willfully ignored in order to maintain power and authority. Creationists/intelligent design proponents might not set the world back 1500 years like the first christians, but they'd sure love to try.

I don't pretend to know everything about everything, nor do I go about telling everybody how stupid they are for believing this or voting for that. Pretensiousness seems to be very common now. Maybe i'll go protest some stuff and shout insults at people who don't think exactly like me.

I suppose the debate is what data points and over how long of a period to look at...

If you take the real long view, one would question the position of Global Warming advocates.


If you take a mid-range view, one would question the position of Global Warming advocates.


If you take the short view, one would ask why the view has changed from Global Warming to Climate Change nomenclature and the suspected causals.

Personally, I do believe humans are contributing to a recurring cycle of global warming and cooling...but to what degree I am uncertain.
