sure...I get it...we can move expiring contracts for futures...but, as I've mentioned before, it's probably more important for this team to stick together and work through the entire season than it would be for them to have their lineup broken apart...

if someone offers a 1st rounder for kuli, that's another story...but a second-rounder or lower might do more harm than good right now, imo

Idk man. I think right now we should be rooting for Boston and Toronto losses. Ottawa aren't missing the playoffs this year and we won the season series against them.

I went to my first game in four years and it felt good to have some talent to watch as each play developed, rather than watch just our one or two of our players carry all game.

So as I was listening to the post game I thought to myself that I didn't miss Reinhart in today's game...with Baptiste, Bailey, Carrier, Nylander all playing similar styles to him.

I think I want to trade Reinhart and try to extend Kane rather than the other way around...Kane brings more to the table right away and a team might be willing to give up more for a high IQ and less risk in Reinhart.

Am I crazy?

we're done with our season series against the sens...still have two more against the leafs and we'll have an opportunity to do that

Modified no trade. He named the 5 teams he could be traded to. So we can trade him to those 5 teams without him agreeing.

I say do it! Would not mind resigning him, but don't have to. So trade him and get an asset (2-3rd rounder or mid prospect). This is not our year and we to keep growing for future. Still want the playoffs, but I would say Baptiste / Carrier / Bailey in Giontas spot would be a close equal and orielly or Eichel as captain seems like it is in order.
