No way you get two of those D men for Kane. I would do it off course, but no way it happens. Doubt you get one and a 1st rounder (which would be 20+). - Lilroot9
I understand that. To me that is what's wrong with the league and perceived value of Dmen.
Hypothetical. Take Kane off the Sabres this season and add Fowler. Are we in the same position?

Leafs are falling all around
It's time I was on my way
Thanks to you I'm much obliged
For such a pleasant stay
But now it's time for me to go
The autumn moon lights my way
For now I smell the rain
And with it pain
And it's headed my way - Mentalorgasm5
Well it would make the penalty kill better and potentially add more scoring too.
Fowler 30 points
Kane 31 points
Now Fowler played more games, but I say we are in same position. But no way to really know. - Lilroot9
Right now the Sabres even strength goals:
26 Buffalo Sabres 142 101 71.1%
26th in the league, 142 total goals scored, 101 even strength, 71.1% of total goals. You take away Evander Kanes, what 18, ES goals, which leads the league that is going to go down no matter how you spin it. That Fowler would set up some ES goals, when you have the player that leads the league and would trade him away, you lose that production and they are only 26th in the league as it is. I'm sure somone would have picked up a few like Bailey or whomever, but they would miss the 18 ES goals. Would Fowler help the D? Sure, but the offense would be putrid.
Bolts just lost in OT. Good night on the scoreboard. - Pierceme69
Indeed ................. I am actually pleased the Leafs got run tonight. The Sens don't scare me at all. We just need to keep jumping the nearest team at this point.
Calgary Vancouver late night game on HNIC is 1-0 Van all night long. I made sure I sat down to catch the final minute just because now gives up soft ass late goals and blow shutouts super late than Ryan Miller. And there we go.
Are you old enough to have seen that era in it's prime time? Epic comedy.
FYI: That soundtrack is playing at about 1.5 speed .... - fastek
Oh, it worked fine for me. Interesting.
No, I turn 32 next month. But I have seen a handful of episodes and always mean to watch more, because it is a funny show. M*A*S*H* is currently my "retro" show, I remember watching episodes of it when I was little. I'm on season 3 now.
The guy jumping through the window from outside to inside was awesome. I've seen the other way around, but I don't think I've ever seen someone jump through a window INTO a house from the outside.
Today is going to tell the tale. It stinks that a game against the Hawks is a must win, but it is! When we are off this week teams are going to pull ahead, if not way ahead of us. We are giving up games in hand to almost everyone. A win today keeps us within 4 or so of the final spot, a loss, and it looks nearly impossible.
