Not just that play my man, all season. Slow, banged up and small, we were better with him out of the line up.
Yea, benched 15... - Irish 14
Sure, but you didn't say that. And I agree that we're better without him.
I never said to bench Eichel. I just asked where he was. He was way behind. Maybe sit him for a shift. But that's about it. |

This team just doesn't have a killer instinct. You don't sit around and wait against a team like Chicago. We had powerplays at the beginning of the game and they played fancy fancy too much. They were basically refusing to shoot.
Okposo had a wide open net, sees it with the puck on his stick, looks down to make sure the puck is on his stick, looks back up and then shoots it right at the goalie's chest.
Idk man. I'm done making excuses. 12 games in 18 nights. Whatever man, guess what? The playoffs are the roughest, fastest games of the year. Equate it to that and this team just doesn't have that mentality yet. Be tired, but be smart too.
My guess is they were out a little too late on Chippewa last night. Playing hung over thinking today was a win. - BeadyEyedDouche
i highly doubt that last part. If it was Colorado, ok sure. But not the Blackhawks who they've lost to 10 straight times.

He's a good player. Too many games this year he's been totally invisible.
Get over it - sbroads24
He wasn't "totally invisible" tonight. He had a couple of rough plays to be sure, like that TO that led to Anisimov's goal, but he also had a few good ones including the one where he bowled over a guy and went to the net with the puck and created a grade A chance. |

Idk man. We lose by a goal, hell even two goals and I'm with you.
But this game could have easily been 7-1. Couple of posts and desperation plays that don't happen, and yeah you can say this any game but tonight, no one looked sharp. I saw no less than 3 wide open nets for Chicago to shoot at that they flat missed or whiffed on.

Methinks you're getting our back-up tonight. We will see.
I expect both Kane's to score and go out beating women and things of that nature afterward. TOGETHER.
I think Chicago might be dragging their asses. Late finish last night, early start tonight. I just hope it isn't boring on both ends. - BeadyEyedDouche
Oh boy... let's hope that second part doesn't also come true... |

No jumping. He's good, I want him here. Just too many games he doesn't make a sinificant impact. He's paid to do that most nights |

90 needs another top winger (besides 21). GMTM should be busy this week making adjustments to make a final push! |

You're missing the point there... Eichel has been very poor in his own end tonight. Teaching him a lesson (Tough love) In having him sit off a shift would maybe make him be more cautious in his own end. - bluengold12
You fail to bring up the two times when it was a game when he skated his ass off to get back, cover for a pinching dman and saved two goals.
On the toews goal, he outfought toews in the corner and threw it up the boards. Neither Kane nor Baptiste went for the puck and also left the guy in the slot uncovered. the shot was taken and Lehner gave up a lousy rebound. If you watch the replay, which you conveniently didn't, toews had a step on jack because he went to the net when jack outfought him for the puck and there was no way jack was catching up.
On Kane's goal, the 3 forwards and a defenseman were at the point for some God-unknown reason, , leaving gorges to defend two players, never a good thing. Jack is a center and his responsibility is in his own zone is covering the other center. Kane is not a center, jack was with toews at the point. The LHD floating at the point was responsible for Kane.
Any other q's? |

Hawks were fresh, sabres looked a combo of tired/checked out for vacation. Would have been nice to see them scrape that one together somehow.
Can't trade Kane. Need to move a defenseman, my preference would be gorges to get fedun back up here. I like the look of the young forwards. Who knows, maybe murray has a trick up his sleeve but there is just so much dead weight, off it if you can at the deadline but I think they should keep growing, collecting points and make their next big move in the offseason.
Continue to move forward. |

It was the NHL's concession to the players for the 3v3 all-star game format. |

Toronto won, Islanders won, Boston winning, Florida on a hot streak. Buffalo could find themselves 6 or 8 points back by next Saturday... |
