5 new forwards full time. That's a lot to integrate.
That defense terrifies me though...
Bogo is hurt too much, and Guhle is very unproven.
If either of them get hurt or aren't playing well...
that puts Nelson or Faulk on the 2nd pair
Yikes!
And if Risto or McCabe get hurt...
well, that could be unrecoverable

good luck trying to get rid of Moulson. and frankly, he hasnt been the worst player on the team. its just the contract.
Im pretty sure Vegas isnt looking for overpriced junk. it's going to be hard to move Georges, Bogo, Ennis or Moulson.
And they might actually take our unprotected goalie, leaving us with said overpriced junk.
I dont think a lot of the Rochester kids listed are actually ready.

and it makes more sense that they'd take him than our high priced castaways so they could send him down to the AHL

I'm ok with our forwards overall though
With Eichel in the line-up, we are top10 in scoring
And we do have some young guys that are just about ready to take spots when we eventually can get rid of Moulson & other "junk"

I'd actually re-sign Kulikov as well but have him in the 3rd pair with Bogosian

That way when we have injuries there's someone decent to call up

yeah, your challenge made it tough because i dont see Murray doing nothing in the off season. especially with our D. I could see inserting a few kids in to the bottom 6 and letting a few guys walk. But i would have to imagine Murray will tinker in some way over the summer. We're still missing that illusive LW for Eichel. And we have some dead weight to get rid of to open spots.

Yes, I'd like us to be better there, but I think defense has to be the focus this offseason unless something falls into our lap

*I'd even look to bring back Tj Brennan if he's available...
and I'd bring back Mike Weber for Rochester as well

*i want us to have all kinds of defensive depth

I really just did it that way to emphasize how bad things look for us on defense right now, & how we have to add for Buffalo AND Rochester

Are we missing that LW for Eichel though?
If it's not Kane, I think it's eventually Nylander...
so that's not a spot I'm worried about

As far as the "dead weight" at forwards go...
I think they'll be replaced as Rochester guys are ready
Bailey, & I think Baptiste will be here next year
