Getting Gaudette signed would be outstanding. Couple years in Utica and he could be a stud - CanuckDon
Nothing wrong with another year of college for him.

The exact same thing was said of Gaudette all last season.
There's no sure fire bet that any of these kids find success in the NHL.
I would also note that Gaudette is being flanked by two other guys who are in the top 5 in NCAA scoring.
I would wager that there's a higher probability that this former 5th round pick turns more so into a Cassels then a future NHL "2nd line Center". - Whiskey-Tango
Perhaps. I am not sure what your point is other than you would like to argue? I want to see Gaudette in Utica and I am not penciling him into Van's lineup. Also, Gaudette is playing with Sikura and not Reese. |

Does he still think the Leafs stink? - PhillySportsGuy
Yes, but strangely, he says he'd support a young Canucks team even if they lose. So I'm guessing he'd think a young Canucks team would also stink and not think very much of them....he's confusing at best. |

I know Benning said he thinks CBJ will give up the second round pick this year.
I agree about the little movement at TDL.
For the Canucks I can't see them playing Miller all this time and then just trading him and letting Markstrom finish the year cold with no support. Great move for tank nation but not a good move for a team trying to win.
I think Markstrom will be dealt in the off season . 9.6 Mill is too expensive for a goalie combo like that.
I think Benning might try to trade Subban or Pedan this off season for a mid to late round pick after the expansion draft.
It will be a busy year with Gudbrandson and Bo needing a new contract along with Tryamkin and Gaunce - VANTEL
I hope they trade Gudbrandson just so I can avoid the entire year of people freaking out about his contract on here.... I feel dread... luckily, I'm fishing like a mad man then and when it get like that, I just log off for a couple of months.

What are you talking about Cassels isn't close to the prospect Gaudette is and folks want to see him in Utica not Van - CanuckDon
I'm mostly just pointing out that many had Cassels penciled in the lineup after his memorial cup performance. Just like people are penciling in Gaudette at this point.
Players rarely turn out the way we hope/expect. |

We should figure out a simple friendly 1st round draft pool on here. No need to manage it. The draft position is the score or something like that. Put up your 1-31 the day before or something....
- boonerbuck
That would be fun, I would be in.

Very true...it was absurd. I watched a few of his OHL games as I was excited by the hype. He is a terrible skater. |

I do think the Canucks stink .
But at least I am not all star struck over the Jets Flames and Leafs like you.
And I sure as hell am not saying if Benning doesn't start doing better I am going to pull a Nucker like you.

Ferraro seems to think the Canucks will get a 1st rd pick and a expansion selectable young asset for Hansen. I believe the 3 examples he gave were:
Mike McCarron and MON 1st
Derrick Pouliot and PIT 1st
Curtis Lazar and OTT 1st - D-UNIT-
Wonder the reaction if Ferraro had an account and posted that here
Anyway let's see what JB does or not either way there will be strong comments. |

Point being that, everyone's opinions/expectations concerning Gaudette right now, have likely nowhere to go but down.
Same as the Cassels hype. |

All the hype was that he plays for the Comets . Not an unreasonable hype. |
