UND coach says he fully expects Boeser to go pro next year as well. If Gaudette and Boeser has nothing left to gain from College, than it would be amazing to have them sign.

Perhaps...a 3rd would be a huge win. He could probably shore up a teams 4th line but I am not sure what a team would pay. There will be cheaper and younger options available at the deadline. Trade Hansen

I dont think it has anything to do with JB's assessment, its just being realistic where the draft position is and how muddled rankings get beyond the first 20.

Acquiring a 1st round pick sounds more exciting than a second but if you're getting the 29th overall pick vs 35th, its not a major difference. It becomes less the further you get into the draft

This is a better way of looking at picks vs what round.
Its a draft of 217 players with rounds acting only as dividers.

MacIntyre last night mentioned Hansen does not want to go . Understandable , as it was pointed out he will probably need to go through a series of 3 moves in the next two years if he waives.

If he decides to stay I for one will have no hard feelings.

On one hand, I am very excited by those two. If they were both on the roster playing bottom 6, maybe even some PP time, I would tune in every game to see their 10-15 minutes.

On the other hand, I am not excited to see the whining over their icetime, deployment, linemates, etc.

I know it is a GMs job to sell the team to the fan base , but JB really does ike this group.

He said today that this NEW CORE will be very easy to turn around.

I believe as the players age like Bo Hutton Tree Stech Granlund Sven along with some new blood like Boeser OJ Gaudette Lockwood and Demko that will be added over the next three years will do just fine.

We will still have Edler Tanev Sutter and maybe Hansen to mentor and we will be getting new picks this year and next.

My take is he gets great mileage out of what he has to work with.
The players give all they got. He is good at teaching young players.
3yrs from now WD will be a much better NHL coach problem is surviving til then so therefore i see a new coach is here.
