No. No he was not "amazing".

He had something like 4 or 5 2-goal games that year, a stretch in between of about 10 or so with not even a point.

He was streaky as hell, wasn't fast, played with Vanek and Roy that year and didn't throw the body around.

You simply cannot compare the two seasons. Drew was also in a contract year IIRC, Kane is not.

He is a stellar player on our team.. Trade him for hopes and dreams . We don't want great players . We want to be constantly be searching for them.

So in 4 games he scored 12 goals

In the other 60 he scored 19 which is a 25 goal pace per 82 games

I get what your saying but Kane isn't exactly on a Stafford like streak since he has been scoring like this for 3 months now.

Again be cautious with him but he has really seemed to be taking smarter shots and sure he is getting some puck luck which he wasn't getting in his first 12 games.

3 months in a hockey season is a lot of hockey.
