We grabbed Possler, but he refuses come over.

I wanted Fowler at the beginning of the season.

I have seen Fowler play for his whole NHL career and he's been above average for his whole career with flashes of being better. He's learned from and lived with Scott Neidermeyer. He's been a high value defenseman for most of his career, in my opinion.

Unfortunately no we are not.

I kind of feel bad for Murray, he's in almost a no win situation with Kane. If he trades him, then everyone will scream about trading away a guy who is so hard to find. But, if he doesn't trade him, and when Kane's hot streak ends (and it will, no player stays on fire forever) it will be how can you not have traded him when his value was so high. Shrugs.

I just don't understand how you can be always down on them, are they perfect? Hell no, but whats the use of cheering for a team when all we do is complain.

I wouldn't have valued Fowler at an 8th, but I don't think that says people didn't want him.

That's a high price to pay for a team that needed to shed salary and it's known league wide.

I not sure how much fault can be placed on Darcy. If a player doesn't want to come over to N. America than they should have never put their name the draft hat to begin with. I almost feel teams should be compensated when a player screws them like this.

I have no issue with extending him. I will admit I did not love trading for him, but I've come around to seeing just how good of a player he can be, just hope it stays that way.
