I'll be surprised if Boeser signs before the regular season is finished.
Carl Neil will likely be signed to a contract or at least a PTO/ATO for Utica.
Edit. Zhukenov as well should get a look at some AHL action. - belcherbd

Problem is protection. If we acquire Lazar we need to protect him, which means exposing granlund. - Retinalz
I didn't know that. I though he hadn't played enough. Ya I'd stay away then, that's a good point. |

You've also said in previous posts it doesn't matter where we pick in this draft outside of pick #3, which is what I was referring to because it is stupid argument (big boys insult arguments, not people). Stop insulting me, it's childish. After the second round, specifically the first half of the second round, statistical likelihood of getting a player that plays over 100 games in the show drops off. maximize picks in that range, higher the better (statistically in every draft). See what that is, is making an arguments and supporting it with facts. none is this vague poop and petty little insults. - neem55
It's not vague or petty. It's a different opinion then yours. You quote and show stats on what you want to believe. We show you the opposite. 2 sides to every argument.

Telling me I'm nailing whatever in into my head, is petty. Pathetic attempt at an insult, but still petty. Talking about 4 top5 picks without naming them, talking about building through the draft through every round, without any explanation of why you would or wouldn't maximize the first 50 picks, is vague. To have an opposing view, you have to present facts that actually oppose my view, which you haven't. |

Hutton is e-draft exempt, trade or shouldn't be traded?
Could he get a 1st?

No and no.
Unless yes to the 2nd which would then be yes to the 1st. |

Because I like to point out flawed arguments, many people on here seem to oppose because of the 'weak draft' vague argument you are backing. Maybe you can change my mind with some actual facts. I've seen you make good points before, call me optimistic. |

As with any trade, it's only " worth it" depending on the return. No way Hutton fetches a 1st IMO.
But this team should not be looking to move their best offensive defense man IMO. |

Fair. I saw Barzal for Hutton on reddit, pee'd my pants. If that trade happens, I'm voting for JB for mayor of Vancouver. |

I say this and nobody seems to understand. If we trade a Dman other than Sbisa it should be Gudbranson, not Hutton. |

Why would you trade a guy you just acquired when his value is low? |

You don't bring a kid like that in based on what he has done this year, your trading for a guy you still believe in despite underperforming. In my mind, Burr for him straight across is something I would do. I agree the value is low, could be a steal as he has been much better before this year. - neem55
TBH, I would rather a pick in return if Burrows is going the other way to OTT |

Ya, now that Don pointed out he's exposed to the e-draft I agree he's not worth the risk. |

Weak draft I view. Backed up by just about every sports analyst that has said this is a weaker then normal draft. I don't have time to write an essay about it. All I can suggest is go to hockey dB. Com look at the 2011, 2012, 2013 nhl entry drafts. Sort of points column, then at the bottom of the draft and see games average and points average. There are noticeable differences in drafts when you don't have elite talent. Outside my personal top 3 this year. I would take anyone from 4-12 then 13-20. Wherever Van ends up. I can't predict how any of these prospects will end up. No one can. Outside my top 3 I don't think anyone is going to step in and help the team next season. Yes Van needs an elite player bit honestly I'd prefer the rest of the team have experience before we get a game changer type. |
