Oops. Meant so does your opinion.
His opinion doesn't doesn't suck. It sucks big time.

I like Granlund, he's really grown on me. Especially seeing his brother break out like he has.

- Scooby_Doo

I would love to be wrong but I think Granlund is one of those guys who will tease you but never really materialize as a difference maker.

It's awesome to see that he can produce decently when given plenty of opportunities but I still don't see a big difference between him and Vey in his first season here.

He doesn't have to be traded this year though, there is always the off season or next TDL if a good deal does not materialize.
- dbot

True. It's an option but at what cost given Vegas factor. Hansen is most likely valued forward not to be under protected list.

If he's kept and Sbisa too it's a toss up who gets picked by Vegas. If Sbisa is moved now, then Hansen could be overlooked by Vegas only if Nucks give them something like a draft pick or prospect.

So keeping Hansen will cost Nucks and moving him now will be a less of a loss. Maybe even a good gain. That's the darn issue at this point.

NHL CBA clause 9.1 d page 43

http://www.nhl.com/nhl/en...12/NHL_NHLPA_2013_CBA.pdf

Does that explain BB and his ELC?

- Nighthawk

9.1d says to refer to 9.2 to determine age, which says calendar year, not "league year". Just click on that Canuck Army link, they broke it out

too many factors flying around to come up with a concrete plan.
I hope they move some bodies.
i hope we get some picks/prospects back.
i look forward to watching how things play out.

You guys loved the chaos...keep in mind the Canucks were tops in the west in those days and you 'Nucks fans were, say, a little more well traveled around HockeyBuzz.

I could be wrong on when a players age is determined for sliding an ELC.
That said the CBA is fact & interpretations of other sites is questionable.

clouts shouldn't come back... for his own sake (and i'm serious.)

he literally had break downs due to the threads.

this place is fun (and vicious). his mental health is more important than that.

*i'm not being facetious or sarcastic. he actually sent me pm's (odd b/c i was never really on that thread but he pm'd lots of people) in tears complaining about the treatment he would receive. he would quit the site every couple of weeks and had health issues due to the stress. as i said, this place is not worth it for him.

It's clear enough. I can summarize to apply to his situation if he signs this March.

If BB plays less then 10 games and doesn't turn 20 by September 16, 2017 his ELC will automatically extend one year. So no burning of 3 year ELC. Let's see if he signs.
